Take a gander and Mozenrath's spellbook! Healing, black, effect -- it's all here. Don't forget that he's a collector, so if you have one to add, write it here traveller!
WARNING: Even though there's nothing here that would endanger someone's life or honestly hurt somebody, I strongly suggest you just read the "black" spells for fun, and not actually use them on anyone. If you go against my advice, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE for the hell you raise, and by reading this you dis-involve me from it.
Ingredients: white petroleum jelly, anhydrous lanolin, glycerin, rosewater Cheaper than name-brand creams and probably more effective. Gently heat 1 cup of white petroleum jelly and 2 1/2 teaspoons of anhydrous lanolin in the top of a double boiler. Small globules of lanolin will form on the top of the melted jelly. In a separate pan, warm 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of glycerin. Combine the two mixtures, the water into the oil. Let the combination cool until it starts to solidify, then add a few drops of non-oil-base perfume or essence. When completely cool, drain off excess water. Put the cream in a jar; yields about 1 1/3 cups. |

Ingredients: None Natural remedies are often sufficient and lack the unpleasant side effects of some drugs. Drink lots of liquids. Hot soups and drinks soothe a sore throat, as does gargling with warm, salty water (the more salt, the better). Breathing in hot steam will relieve a stuffy nose and chest congestion. |
Ingredients: Three whole banana peels, dark plastic bag The ingredients notwithstanding, this'll be no laughing matter. Take three banana peels and place them inside a black plastic bag -- the smaller, the better. (Try the mall. They tend to have multi-colored bags; try to find a place that carries dark-colored plastic bags for their merchandise.) Tie the top of the bag together loosely, and leave the bag in a closet. 3-5 weeks later, go back and check the bag carefully. Do not fully burst it open!, just peek inside without rustling the contents much. If a large enough colony of fruit flies have gathered, gently take the bag into the victim's room. Open the bag fully, and startle the flies by dumping the contents in a nonobvious place. Oh, the horror! |
Ingredients: urine Yes, you read that right - urine. This will not be for the faint of heart, but someone discovered this wonderful cure for pink eye, an inflammation of the eye. Simply wash your infected eye with urine -- please, use your own! -- four times a day, and the condition will clear up after one day, two at the most. Free, effective, and, um ...recyclable. |
Ingredients: mineral oil, white beeswax, powdered borax As always in these home-made beauty creams, you can substitue rosewater for regular water. Put 2 cups of mineral oil and 1/2 cup of beeswax into a double boiler, and gently heat until the beeswax melts. (Your best source for beeswax may be an all beeswax candle, cut into slivers. Try the dollar-store, they should have them.) Let the goo cool to 120°F. In a separate pan, heat 1 cup water to 120°F; add 1 1/2 tablespoons powdered borax; stir gently until it dissolves. Then slowly pour the water/borax mixture into the oil/wax mixture, stirring as you pour. Cool the mixture until it starts to solidify and pour it into jars. Yields about 3 cups. |
Ingredients: lemon juice or onion juice, tooth-pick, paper
You can do writing that appears invisible -- yet easily revealed -- with lemon or onion juice. Use either bottled or freshly squeezed lemon juice. To get onion juice, grate a peeled onion into a dish, then strain out the juice. Let it set a while before using. |
