Who's Who (in Hungarian)

Date and place of birth: 1953. December 21. Budapest, Hungary

I am a Hungarian writer. I also published poems. Later I became a playwright, a literary translator and a lyricist. I worked as a journalist and as a cultural manager/producer as well.

I was the literary manager of the Kolibri Theatre, Budapest, between 1992 - 95, and the Creative Director of the Appaloosa Software, Budapest, 1996 - 97.


Education

1973-1978: I studied History, Comparative Literature, Aesthetics and Art History at the Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Arts. I graduated in 1978 as an art historian and aesthetician.

Belvárosi Ifjúsági Ház (Inner City Youth Centre), Hétfői Színpad (The Monday Stage), 1977-1981: I was the artistic director of a weekly series, in which, beside famous musicians, poets, and other artists, we gave some publicity for those Hungarian artists who didn't have enough opportunity to do this (usually, but not always, for political reasons)I don't think that their names would mean anything to a foreigner not speaking Hungarian. I organised over 100 programs during the four years..
