Position Qualifications:

To be a State Representative, a person must be 21 years or older.  He or she must have been a registered voter and he or she can not have been convicted of a felony involving a breah of public trust 20 years prior to appointment.
Nomination Process:
Canidates that are affilliated with a political party are nominated at the August Primary Elections by their political party.  Canidates without a political party  must file a petition no more than 180 after ubtaining the signatures.  The petition needs signatures at least equaling 2% of the number of votes cast in the last election for governor in that district.
Election Time:
August.
