Chapter 4
Kathleen figured it wouldn't be so bad Chandra was only in one of her classes right? Wrong! It turned out Kathleen had her in every class even Study Hall!
" I don't know" Hannah said on the way home "She seems kind of nice maybe we should invite her over to eat lunch with us! How about it Kathleen?"
"Sure why not." Kathleen replied, "She's only going to invite her self over" Hannah didn't catch the last part because her interest was on a dog a lady was walking.
"Dogs I love dogs!" squealed Hannah.
"Yeah you love turtles and birds too not to mention cats and-"
"Ok so I like animals" shrugged Hannah cutting Kathleen off. She reached down to pet the dog.
"Your so cute yes you are."
" Yes I know. Don't flatter me to much" said Kathleen faking a blush.
"All I am afraid of is your going to flatter YOU to much." said Hannah waving as the lady waved back and continued with her walk. Hannah stood up brushing off her pants. "Come on Kathleen you can come over to my place." Hannah knew Kathleen loved the horses more than she did and figured Kathleen's dad was having a hard time getting over the loss of his job. So he wouldn't mind if Kathleen came over. "Want to ride the horses?" Hannah asked as they neared Hannah's house. " Do I ever say No?" questioned Kathleen they both laughed.
Later when Kathleen and Hannah came in for dinner they where both surprised to find Hannah's mom on the phone with Kathleen's dad.
"Fine with me I'd love to have Kathleen stay. Yeah, Ok I will," said Hannah's mother as she hung up the phone. " Kathleen your dad said that he was leaving for a while. He's going to see a sick friend and was in a hurry. He left the key under the doormat you were to pick up things at the house anytime you need them." Hannah's mom sure could talk thought Kathleen. "Why don't you and Hannah go over there now and see if you can't bring everything over in one load."
"Ok!" the girls sang together and they dashed off to get their jackets. They didn't get everything but they agreed to pick the rest up tomorrow. Kathleen managed to set up in the guest room next to Hannah. They still had time to ride the horse one last time and were informed that Chandra had sign up for horse riding lessons. Now she's taking over my life away from school thought Kathleen. That left them all of tomorrow to ride the horse one last time. After that Chandra would be arriving to destroy their lives and take over their horses. Even though they were tempted to stay up all night Hannah's mom told them that's she was waking them up in six hours whether they liked it or not. So, they managed to find their way inside and went to bed.
