It can virtually demand interviews with any american politician in order to determine exactly what that politicians’ views are and to persuade them to change their mind over any particular issue. All american politicians know that the slightest anti-zionist or even pro-palestinian views they have would be distributed to several large circulation newspapers/radio stations/television centres, etc, which would publicize such views during the run up to elections.

The overall influence of jews on american elections goes far beyond their numerical proportion of american society. Congressional elections take place at the same time as presidential elections which means that voters face various ballot papers when they vote. In the 2001 american presidential election nearly 30,000 jews in florida voted for one of america’s most right wing, anti-semitic, politicians contesting a congressional seat in the state. If they’d also voted for george mcbush then they would have helped to defeat the first jew running for vice-president. Assuming this piece of news was correct (it was reported on brutish television) it has to be asked, how is it possible for such vast numbers of jews spontaneously, of their own free will, to vote for an anti-semite? Let’s forget the suggestion that this was caused by mass confusion over a complicated ballot paper, and ignore the issue of who might have been responsible for organizing such a conspiracy. Let’s concentrate solely on what the goals of such a conspiracy could have been? Was it to ensure there are prominent anti-semitic politicians in all countries around the world because this helps the racists in the zionist state in palestine to maintain the zionist illusion that the world is full of anti-semites? The belief that the entire world is anti-semitic is vital to zionists because it gives the zionist state in palestine the moral right to shoot unarmed palestinian children protesting about their racist oppressors. What better way is there to cover up the racist nature of the zionist state in palestine than by insisting the entire world is anti-semitic and then helping to elect anti-semites to prove the validity of this proposition.

Jewish influence in the american political process is significant and, in many cases, decisive. There is something fundamentally wrong with the american political process when it allows a minority group to gain so much power at the expense of other minorities. The house of representatives was crafted in order to ensure that all states in the federal government had equal representation but this was based on the premise that there were only white people living in america - after all indians and blacks were then regarded as almost non humans. It is time for americans to add a house of minorities to congress to give increased representation to minorities and thus prevent the dominance of one minority over another.

Mr Rubin also belongs to the Middle East Forum. Another Middle East scholar at AEI is Laurie Mylroie, author of Saddam Hussein's Unfinished War Against America, which expounds a rather daft theory that Iraq was behind the 1993 World Trade Centre bombing. When the book was published by the AEI, Mr Perle hailed it as "splendid and wholly convincing". An earlier book on Iraq ‘Saddam Hussein and the Crisis in the Gulf’ which Ms Mylroie co-authored with Judith Miller, a New York Times journalist, became the New York Times's No 1 bestseller. Ms Mylroie and Ms Miller both have connections with the Middle East Forum. Three prominent figures from the Washington Institute - Robert Satloff (director of policy), Patrick Clawson (director of research) and Mr Rubin (prolific writer, currently at AEI) - also belong to the forum. Daniel Pipes, the bearded $100,000-a-year head of the forum is listed as an "associate" at the institute, while Mr Kramer, editor of the forum's journal, is a "visiting fellow". The Middle East Forum issues two regular publications, the Middle East Quarterly and the Middle East Intelligence Bulletin, the latter published jointly with the United States Committee for a Free Lebanon.
