Introduction to the Mundi Club

Give me a Hint: What's this website about?
Mundipubs.
The mc publishes the world's most controversial, original, and theoretically consistent, green/Animal rights' magazines. It publishes academicy works because we believe oomans can still save themselves from oomanicide/geocide but it also publishes satirical works because it is highly unlikely that oomans will do so.

The mc publishes the following magazines:-

'Carbonomics' - an academicy/philosophical magazine;

'Terra' - a political-satirical magazine;

'The Terra Firm'; - a political-satirical magazine;

'Mappa Mundi'; - a political-satirical magazine;

'Doom, Doom, Doom and Doom'; - a political-satirical magazine;

'Special Publications'; an academicy/philosophical magazine; and, finally,

'The Mundimentalist' - a manifesto for the Earth Party;

The Objectives of the Mundi Club's Publications
The mundi club is an independent, loss making, trans-species collective which publishes, somewhat spasmodically, seven magazines:-

Carbonomics
This is a theoretical journal which develops a new economics of the Earth. It explores the way the Earth works and presents the only scientific accounting system capable of accurately measuring oomans' impact on the climate. It is also the only accounting system which can measure not only ooman activities but environmental phenomena.

The Terra Firm
This is a highly controversial magazine which has explored all the major green issues over the last decade or so - saddam's contribution to green politics, the geophysiological damage caused by cars, the green movement's opposition to Reforestation; the green movement's support for pharmers; exposing the world's biggest Earth rapists i.e the Animal enslavement industry; the political implications of Bse and Bse-cjd, etc.

Terra
This is a satirical magazine covering news and events in national, and global, green politics. It discusses the tactics and strategy for green politics.

Mappa Mundi
Mappa Mundi is another satirical magazine which maps out the dominant, anti-Planetary, world view of the global establishment, consumer superstars, and livestock consumers;

The Mundimentalist
The Mundimentalist is the global journal of the Earth party. It is the policy making journal of the Earth party. The first issue is the Earth party's manifesto.

Doom, Doom, Doom Doom
This magazine provides the evidence that consumer livestock oomans are pushing the Earth to the brink of a geophysiological collapse. It is the magazine where people can let rip against the eco-nazis destroying the Earth, slaughtering tens of billions of enslaved Animals and murdering, maiming, and mutilating tens of billions of wild Animals. If you want to express your hatred of what oomans are doing to the Earth, Animals, and other oomans, then do it here.

Special Publications
This journal focuses on specific green topics.

So what has the mundi club done so far to save the Earth?
Firstly, we celebrated saddam's torching of kuwait's oilfields. We were the only environmental group to do so. Not a single environmental group in this country or anywhere else around the world would even discuss this issue. Saddam was so pleased about the mc's recommendation he later claimed to be a green. A disgruntled member of the brutish army came around to ask if i wanted to take part in a bombing campaign. I had to politely coax him out of the house explaining i was just trying to dramatize an intellectual point about the dire state of the environment.

Secondly, the mundi club helped to give intellectual stimulation to the anti-roads protests, which dominated the environmental scene in brutland during most of the 1990s, by publishing the ground-breaking 'Ban Cars'. This inspired many radicals - although most of them wouldn't acknowledge it.

Thirdly, we helped in the environmental education of john prescott who at the end of the 1980s was demanding the construction of a vast motorway up the east coast leading straight to his beloved hull constituency. All credit to him that he realized the significance of green issues and went out of his way to learn about environmentalism. In the first mcblair government he became the country's leading environmental politician - unlike the other members of mcblair's government who are environmental illiterates.

Fourthly, the mundi club is also famous because it provided the name for the species that has terrorized various star trek series. In early mundiclubpubs we use to condemn the appalling self centredness of the bourgeoisie depicting them as the bourgs. We are currently seeking to back-date a patent on this term.

The mundi club's Tenth Anniversary
The mundi club was never formally inaugurated so there is no record as to when we coined the name and started the project. So we're using the publication date of 'The Gulf War Had Nothing To Do With Kuwait' as the date of our formation i.e. march 26th 1991 - the magazine was first published as Mundi Occasional Publications no.1 but was later recatalogued as the first issue of the Terra Firm.

Ever heard of the mundi cub?
Photograph of the Earth
Did you know the mundi club is one of the u.k's main publishers of green magazines - having published nearly 40 works? Did you know we've just celebrated over a decade of uncompromising, radical publishing? The green movement never mentions the mundi club. It refuses to address any of the criticisms the mundi club has made of the green movement's so-called green policies - presumably in the hope we would go away believing and that nobody else would ask them such embarrassing questions. However, now we're on the web we hope that enough people will realize that the questions we pose deserve some sort of response.
