A winter wonderland.
Legend has it he area around the town is prowled by Trolls, ferocious man-eating
monsters with long claws and fangs. This is a possible sighting of one.
The area is plentiful in waterways.
Everybody in the town drives a SAAB, which has led to a drop in the use of rail transport.
But there is the occasional visitor from outside.
The local Hydro electric power station.
When you stand near this you can feel the ground trembling.

A perfect place to contemplate suicide.
The locks in the vicinity date back over 150 years,
and have obviously been rebuilt.
The flight back to Japan took me through London. Tower Bridge is visible right of centre.
