...The city of Gothenburg on a cold Saturday morning...
A Saturday Morning in Gothenburg
The car dropped outside the railway station at about 7AM on the Saturday morning.
I couldn't check into my Hotel until 2PM, so there was no alternative but to wander
the streets until a fast food joint would welcome me.

A tall ship on the dockside.
The girl at the bottom right of the picture spent about ten minutes
screaming something at the sun as it rose.

The same ship from a different angle, later in the day.

Dockside cranes in the sunrise.

The architecture of the city reminded me of Dublin.

But the hills are steeper.

And the cars are more imaginative, (It's easier to get a parking space too!)

A gentleman taking his morning walk.

Host city of the world athletic championships in 1996.

Home also to a maritime museum, where you can look around old warships.
It was very easy to get lost inside because there were many stairwells
among the 6 or seven decks (I am not really sure).
I met the same man bringing his son around about four times, I think he was lost too!

Inside the submarine. One of these knobs fires the missiles!
