A day at the Kawagoe Festival


The festival is held on the third weekend in October and is one
of the biggest and oldest in the Kanto region. The town is about
40 minutes from Tokyo by train.


Waiting for it all to start...


"This isn't the school bus!!...


Lassie gets up and boogies...


The arrival of the beer supply is greeted with much excitement...


Not a happy man...can't afford a beer!


Traffic congestion is inevitable.


A monster recoils in horror at the sight of a cute little baby.


The show runs until late into the night...


Rushing for the last train home...


"Show's over folks!"...
