The story of earth The earth is 4,600,000,000 years old. If we try to condense this huge period of time into a more perceivable concept, we can resemble earth to a human being 46 years old. We know nothing about the first 7 years of his life and for the rest 35 years there is only some scattered information. Life as we know it, appeared on earth at the age of 42. Dinosaures and the big reptiles appeared only a year ago, when the planet was 45 years old, while mammals appeared just 8 months ago. Manlike apes turned to apelike humans in the middle of last week and during the weekend the last period of glacier covered earth. Us humans , in our recent form, exist for the last 4 hours. An hour ago we discovered farming and the industrial revolution started just a minute ago. During these 60 seconds of biological time, we turned this paradise to a waste-dump. We caused the extinction of hundreds of species and looted the planet searching for burning fuel. Now, just like supernatural babies, we stand admiring this amazing "progress" at the edge of total destruction of this oasis of life in our solar system. "Once the last tree is burned and the last river is dried out and the last fish is dead, only then will humans discover that they cannot feed themselves with money." 1) Poisoned food! 21/4/99 Ο Dr. Ζερεφός (Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki) : "...huge aerial masses moved from Kossovo to Greece and other European countries". Dr. Rapsomanikis (Demokritos University of Thrace) June 1999: "Politicians shouldn't interfere with science... the polution is much more worse than anticipated. People have a right to learn the truth" June 1999: Chickens, pork και beef , are poisoned trough forage in Belgium (where else ?...).
