Homeschool Military This list is for military families who homeschool or are interested in homeschooling their children. Homeschooling after Midnight is for nightowls and others who tend to spend most of their awake hours when others are asleep, a habit we got into when my husband had odd shift hours. Homeschooling after Midnight is designed as a virtual support group for nightowls. It will give an environment that is supportive to your homeschooling, but give you an interactive group that are on when you are. It offers a freedom to post when you are up and thinking about topics, without wondering what people will think of you when they see a timestamp of 3:45am.
Adopt Homeschool This list is for parents who have adopted children and choose to homeschool. Not that adopted children function any differently in the homeschool environment, but often times adoption is transcultural or international, and their is a need for multicultural resources. Also, adoptive parents are a true community, and this list is just one more way to meet and enjoy the company of others who choose to raise their children in the homeschool environment.
WORK and HOMESCHOOL It can be done!! This is a support group for working parents who have chosen to homeschool their children or are considering homeschooling, as well as for homeschooling parents who are thinking of returning to work. Whether you are working or thinking of working, inside or outside your home, this list is for you.
Gay Homeschoolers This is a list for homeschoolers (and people who are thinking about it) who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or straight allies, and parents of children with with those orientations. It's also for folks who want to homeschool encouraging difference. The list includes a wide variety of families.

Homeschool 4-H This is a place to discuss how 4-H can have an impact on homeschooling. Share ideas for utilizing the 4-H curriculum in your school program such as incorporating record eeping, project work, and field trips into daily assignments.

SJTeenGroup This is a group for parents of South Jersey Homeschooled Teens. It is a way to tell each other about activities appropriate for the group. The parents organize activities such as teen nights in homes, bowling, ice skating, volunteer opportunities, field trips and more.
Shore Homeschoolers This group is open to all NJ homeschoolers/unschoolers in Monmouth and Ocean counties (and surrounding areas) Feel free to post information about homeschooling. We encourage *friendly* discussions. The main purpose here is for families to network with each other.
Homeschool Jersey City Hoboken This is a newer group that has formed in Jersey City and Hoboken for families who are homeschooling children of any age. We are building a supportive community and to have face to face activities together and an opportunity for homeschooled children to meet each. We may form groups for classes or instruction or field trips or for extracurricular activities like team sports or scouts. We are also building a resource "library" full of information in our links and files section. This is a secular group.
Jersey's Awesome HomeSchoolers JAHS is a group formed as a good way for us hs'ers to keep in touch and let each other know about homeschooling activities going on in our area(s) of NJ. Also a place where we can discuss our methods of hs'ing and our curriculums. It's a "run by teens, for teens" group, so there are no adults or children under 12 on the list.
NJ Homeschool Book Swap If you are a New Jersey homeschool family and would like to sell your used books and curriculum, videos, CD's, clothes or other items that would be of use to other homeschooling families, you may do so here. No adult themes, occult or foul language allowed.
Bergen Rockland Homeschooling Association We are a diverse group of homeschooling families who live in or near Bergen County, New Jersey and Rockland County, NY. Homeschool Middletown Area This group is entirely devoted to Social Activities for Homeschoolers in Middletown NJ and the surrounding areas. If you want to form a club, plan an event or just meet other homeschoolers, this is a great place to meet up or just chat.
Central NJ Young Homeschoolers We are a small group of Homeschool families who meet weekly. Our children curently range in age from 0-6. Our goal is to have a community of families where the children and parents know each other well and feel safe and accepted. Inclusive and secular.

NJ Homeschool Scholars New Jersey Homeschool Scholars is an honor society to recognize the achievements of high school homeschoolers from New Jersey. NJHS recognizes various methods of homeschooling. The goal of our group is to reward academic and extracurricular achievement, and to provide opportunities for students who are preparing for graduation and higher education.
NJ Loop The NJ Loop is a statewide list for homeschoolers in NJ, for discussing our homeschooling experiences, posting announcements of events and activities, and sharing news and information about our state pertinent to homeschooling. This list is open to all homeschoolers in NJ without regard to religion, homeschooling methods, or positions on homeschooling issues. The majority of listmembers are Christian so there will occasionally be Christian content or views expressed in some of the messages. This seems to bother some people so please be aware of this and don't join if this would be a problem for you. If you do choose to join, don't complain when it happens. I am a pro-life Catholic and messages promoting abortion are not permitted anywhere on NJLoop.
