	The third book in The Lakedge Disasters series (Sequel to The Return of the Spanish Lady and to The Curse of El Ni�o.) is titled: The Harness of the Riviera. Although people who spoke to me about the series told me that I was cruel to bring on all these disasters to one small town, I tried to give a demonstration of the true spirit of resiliency I have found in the majority of Canadians I have encountered. It is often during the worst possible conditons that people bring out the best within them. They stick together and help each other. So rather than worrying about the citizens of Lakedge, I encourage you to marvel at the strenght they find in each other. Here is a sample of this novel.

			Nipigon
		As I was writing this book I found out about the plight of the town of Nipigon, Ontario. This small forestry town suffered the loss of the local pulp and paper mill through fire just as I was expressing in my writing. The town is struggling now to survive. I was inspired by the will of the people of Nipigon to continue to fight for their town. Here are some of the articles I found and some interesting web sites. Under development
