Press coverage	NEWSFLASH: ALAIN NORMAND NAMED 2007 ARTS ACCLAIM OF THE YEAR FOR WRITING "THE CURSE OF EL NINO" Award presented on May 1st, 2008 at the Brampton Rose Theatre. Alain Normand was selected as Brampton Arts Acclaim of the Year 2007 for writing and publishing his second book titled "The Curse of El Niño; Global Warming is here to stay". See a clip of the award ceremony ( here) The award was presented to the author on May 1st, 2008 during a celebration of people and groups that make a difference in Brampton. Along with Normand, other artists, community volunteers and community leaders were recognised for their contribution to making the City of Brampton a better place to work, live and play. The Mayor and some of the members of the municipal council were on hand to present the awards at the prestigious Rose Theatre in downtown Brampton. Normand received the awards from the Mayor herself and from Marnie Richards, the president of the Brampton Arts Council.	MY BOOKS

	WHY THIS WEB PAGE? I felt I should have a web page to help people find out about my books but also find out more about what I present in my books. Information on emergency management, on influenza pandemic, on global warming, on homeopathy, as I present in The Return of the Spanish Lady and in The Curse of El Ni񯦣060;/b> may be foreign to many of my readers, so I will attempt to introduce you to other sites where you can learn more on these topics. Each book icon will direct you to one of my books and to much additional information in the sections called "Beyond the book". Enjoy.
