Music Main - Facilities - Concerts - AS/A2 Level
In year 10 and 11, pupils have the option to study music at GCSE level. The pupils who do are usually competent instrumentalists or singers.

St. Benedict's studies the AQA (NEAB) GCSE music syllabus. The assessment for this involves a written listening exam, a mark for performance and a mark for composition. To view the short-form syllabus please visit
here. A full syllabus can also be downloaded from there.

Pupils studying GCSE Music get the chance to perform their own compositions and exhibit their musical skills at various
concerts throughout the year.
