Music Main - Concerts - GCSE - AS/A2 Level
The school's music department has a number of facilities available to pupils to help with teaching or to aid individual musical development.

One of the school's music rooms is equipped with 18 keyboards, a piano, a CD/tape stereosystem and a computer with specialist musical software. The other room is equipped with 6 keyboards, a piano, 2 drum kits, a CD/tape stereosystem and 2 computers with musical software.

In addition to the instruments in each room, the school also has about 20 acoustic classical guitars, 2 electric guitars (plus 5 amplifiers), an electric bass guitar, an electric piano, 6 microphones (and stands) and a wide range of small percussion instruments.

Other facilities available to pupils are: a 4-track Portastudio, a drum machine and a guitar effects processor.

For performance, the hall and the larger music room are available as venues and the department have specialist performance equipment, such as speakers and a mixer. The school's temporary staging is also available for use.
