Pupils study the art forms and devise their own pieces for examination, aswell as performing their own interpretations of existing work by practitioners such as The Beatles, Christopher Bruce, Bertolt Brecht and more.
Recently, the work has involved forging links with various junior schools in the area, something which has benefitted not only the schools, but also the pupils of St. Benedict's and the junior schools.
Having Expressive Arts as an A Level subject has been a great benefit to the school and pupils alike.

The subject is taught in school by music and drama teacher Mr Kirby and dance teacher Mrs Skillen.
