GET SMART BLOOPERS PAGE 6

Farkas Fracas

Max is holding a bottle of wine, when suddenly, the top stem & part of the bottle is shot off. In the next shot, the bottle is only missing the top stem.

This next blooper happens at the same time as the above blooper, Max's mouthpiece on his shoe-phone is up. In the next shot, the mouthpiece is down.

Chief shows up with a box to Max & 99's apartment. She's holding it with both hands. He tells them it's a croquet set. In the next shot, she's holding it with one hand. Then in the following shot, she's back to holding it with 2 hands.

Chief pulls out a remote control for his case. He's holding it with his right hand. In the next shot, he has it in his left hand.

When the case explodes in the closet, you can see the door is blown off before the explosion actually goes off.

Chief picks up the important burned papers & is about to leave. He drops a few pieces, yet he & 99 don't bother picking them up before he leaves.

Pussycats Galore

Max, 99 & Hans Frome show up at the club. Hans walks to back & meets Valentine. Valentine drugs the drinks for Max & 99, then tells the waitress to bring the drinks to table #7, where Max & 99 are. But Valentine didn't see where they were sitting, nor did Hans tell him.

Hans gets his hand stuck in the car's window. Notice, his head is at window level. In the next shot, when he shoots Valentine, his head is above the car's roof. In the following shot, it's back at window level.

A Tale of Two Tails

Caruso & Lundy get out of Max's car to tail 99. As Lundy (Fred Willard) gets out, notice he just cracks the door open enough to get out. In the next shot, the door is wide open.

Chief & Max are using the secret word file, which has words written on cards so they can talk in secret. At the end of the conversation, Chief dumps the cards all over. As he dumps them, you can see there are no words written on the unused cards.

99 Loses Control

A bet of 5,000 Francs is bet for Max without him knowing on Roulette. He wins twice, letting it ride both times. He should then have 6,125,000 Francs. The guy tells him he has 6,000,000 Francs on the line. What happened to the 125,000?

Bob Hope appears as the hotel's room service. As he wheels up, you can see the cue card's shadow to the left side of the scene. Notice too, that even back then, he read badly off cue cards.

Max is looking through the Casino for rigs on the machines. He pulls off part of the roulette table, turns it over & finds a button with a wire on it, which is the rig. But, notice the wire is not connected to the table he just took it off of.

The Hot Line

Max dials 4 numbers on his ice cream cone phone to call Control. All other times, he dialed 3 numbers.

Gorshen (John Byner) imitates the President to fool Chief, Max & 99. He hasn't hung up yet, when he says to the other too Kaos agents, "Worked like a charm." in his normal voice. Since our heroes were listening on a speaker phone, they probably should have heard him talk normal.

Chief tells Max he was Agent "Q" before he was Chief. He says he was an agent before they became numbers. But in the episode "Dear Diary", the original Control agents were in a nursing home & they were numbers, not letters.

When Chief hits the note in the gym to break the mirror, you can see it bulge out as it gets hit from behind. It doesn't break, then a second hit finally breaks it.

Chief is singing on stage, in the waiter's disguise. As Gorshen & Brady walk up to either side of him, you can see Chief mouthing the song wrong.

Normally I don't consider non-look alike stuntmen a blooper, but this one is just horrible. As Max swings the chair at Gorshen, knocking him through the window, you can see Gorshen's stuntman looks nothing like him. He has the worst wig I've ever seen.

The King Lives

The King is shot in his back through the window. As he turns, you can see his back is fine. No hole, no blood, nothing.

Max puts the monocle on his eye, off to the side. In the next shot, the monocle is straight in the middle of his eye.

Last One In Is A Rotten Spy

Max is on the phone with the informant when he places a recording microphone on one end of the phone. After he notices his recorder is unplugged, he goes back to the phone which still has the recording mic on it. Then after she tells him to get a pencil, the mic disappears from the phone.

The mic he uses on the phone, covers the entire earpiece. Notice too, the mic has no holes in it, so after Max covers the phone, he shouldn't be able to hear it any more.

Max, 99 & Chief arrive at the pool. They look up at the diving board where we see a girl about to dive. It cuts back to the 3 Control Agents & we hear her dive. But Max keeps looking up at the board as if she's still there.

Max goes back to the girl's dormatory a second time, when the teacher (Alice Ghostley) comes out of her room with a gun. As Max reads her the list of girl's names, you can see a shadow (camera?) on the wall to the left. This wasn't there when Max first arrived & isn't there when we see the hall afterwards.

When Greco shoots at the diving board, you can see the piece that's being shot is not part of the real board, as it's not as thick as the rest of the board.

Greco then tells the other Kaos guy he's going to "Get Smart" & then dives into the pool with a harpoon gun. But Greco didn't know his name was Smart as Smart was undercover.
