Double Agents
#1: Max goes to a Casino to gamble & joins in a poker game which he wins, regardless of the fact that he never antes.
#2: Max turns over his cards showing 4 Aces & a "3", with the "3" on Max's left. But after the guy says, "You win." to Max, the next shot shows 4 Aces & a "5" in front of Max, with the "5" to Max's right (camera left).
#3: Max hits the slot machine & wins without putting money into it.
#4: He also wins the slot machine even though nothing matches on the slot when it stops. No, no cherries either.
#5: In the bar, when Max is talking to Fang, his drink is almost empty. Then 99 walks in & talks to Max. Suddenly, his drink is refilled, even though he hadn't asked the bartender for a refill yet.
#6: The screaming recording on the Phono-watch stops without Max or 99 turning it off.
Survival of the Fattest #1: Mary Jack Armstrong walks into the room carrying a refrigerator. But, the fridge doesn't have a power plug.
#2: Chief is talking to Max in his office. When he says the line, "A faction that has already shown it's unfriendliness to the United States.", notice he's looking up & to his right at Max. Then in the next shot, he's staring down & to the left at his desk.
#3: Max & Rhonda keep turning Max's homing device on & off in his jacket. Chief & Parker are watching the radar go on & off in the lab. Notice the light going on & off. Just before it cuts, the light goes off, meaning Rhonda turned it off. Then it cuts to the next shot & Rhonda is shown hitting it again, meaning she just turned it on. Then Max hits it again, meaning he would have turned it off, but then the next shot shows the radar as on again.
#4: After Max shoots his finger gun, the tip of the finger becomes black & torn. Then, just before he shoots the second shot, we see the finger is repaired.
Kisses for Kaos #1: When Max blows up his Inflato-girl in the car, you can see the red air hose under the box actually blowing it up.
#2: 99 says Savage only takes off his gloves, when he eats & when he takes a bath. She then says Savage is coming to her place at 11pm, where she'll get the gloves off. Max says, "Isn't 11pm a little late for a bath?" She says, "No, he's coming for supper." To which I say, "Isn't 11pm a little late for supper?"
#3: The camera in the soup bowl would be blocked by the soup from taking any pictures.
#4: If the flash in the soup bowl camera will be blocked by the soup itself, why bother putting a flash in the camera bowl?
Stakeout on Blue Mist Mountain #1: At the beginning, a cop is leaning on Max's car, writing out a ticket. When he's done, he hands the ticket to Max. He's still leaning on the car. But the next shot shows him standing up about a foot away from the car. #2: Max is at the airport & gets his tie caught in a Kaos agent's briefcase. The Kaos agent starts to walk, dragging Max behind. He turns & sees Max. He says, "What are you doing there?", obviously not knowing he's Maxwell Smart. Then Max makes a funny remark. The Kaos agent then pulls a gun & says, "Don't move or Smart gets it." But he didn't recognize Smart, nor was he introduced.
#3: In the cabin, Chief asks to use Max's shoe phone. When Chief dials the phone, he dials it clockwise, like a regular phone. But in every episode, including this one later on, Max dials the shoe phone counter-clockwise. Somebody's dialing wrong.
The Amazing Harry Hoo #1: May not really be considered a blooper, but the same shot of the airport from "Stakeout on Blue Mist Mountain" is shown in this episode, with the same white car driving down the road towards it.
#2: The guy at the airport asks how Max will pay for his ticket. Max says, "Cash." & then whips out his checkbook.
#3: Max takes out the checkbook & opens it. Then in the next shot, a pen mysteriously appears in his hand.
#4: 99 walks into the dark hotel room with a flashlight in her hand, looking around with it, but the flashlight's not on.
#5: Even though 99's flashlight is not on, when they find the dead guy in the closet, she points it at him & a spotlight hits him.
#6: When the body falls out of the closet, the spotlight follows it down to the floor, but 99 doesn't move the flashlight, the supposed source of the light.
#7: Harry Hoo is holding a notepad & pencil in his hands. Right after he says, "A bird in the hand, gathers no moss", it cuts to the next shot. Now, Harry has his right hand in his jacket & the pencil is now missing from his left hand. Hoo's hands are quicker than the eyes! Amazing!
#8: Max talks with Harry about the white suit he's wearing, But the suit isn't white, it's grey.
#9: Even though the title of this episode spells Harry's last name as Hoo, his name is spelled Harry Who in the ending credits. One of them is incorrect.
Maxwell Smart: Alias Jimmy Balentine #1: When Max & 99 duck in the car as they start to get shot from the armored car, there's a really bad cut in the film before the bullet holes appear on the windshield. Then as the gun stops, there's another bad cut, just before Max & 99 sit up.
#2: Chief wants to show Max & 99 a picture of Jimmy Balentine in his office. He turns on a screen behind some fake books. In the far shot, the picture of Jimmy is a close-up, just showing his face & neck. Then, the next shot shows a close-up of the screen. The picture of Jimmy is now a medium shot, where his entire chest, including his prison number can be seen. Then finally, in the next shot, it returns to the close-up picture of just his face.
#3: Chief asks the warden of the jail how long he's been working at the prison. The warden walks up to a calendar & lifts it, showing 25 marks on the wall, like a prisoner would mark his days. He says, 6 years, 3 months & 11 days. How do you get 6years, 3 months & 11 days from 25 marks?
#4: Balentine shows Max how to sensitize his fingertips with sandpaper, by rubbing the paper across his fingernails & top of his hand!
#5 & 6: After Max "opens" the safe at the bank, the 2 Kaos agents enter the vault. As they do, the camera zooms in on Max & the other Kaos guy. As the camera zooms in, there are 2 bloopers to notice. #1: The shadow of the microphone can be seen on the top of the screen. #2: The shadow of the camera itself covers the bottoms of Max & the Kaos guy.
The Greatest Spy on Earth #1: When Hondo breaks the tape-recorder camera, the inside of the machine is empty . No electronics at all.
#2: After the scene where Hondo breaks the tape-recorder camera, the camera tape-recorder that 99 has been carrying is gone with no explanation.
#3: Max is on his shoe-phone with the Chief. As Max looks back to the lion cage, it cuts to a shot of the cage. Notice, the cage is filled with smoke & there's someone to the right waving something at the lions. When it cuts back, the cage is again clear of smoke & again, there's no body standing next to the cage who could have been waving at it.
#4: After Hanlon says 99 will be the new lion tamer, it cuts to a shot of the lion cage again. And again, the cage is filled with smoke, which disappears in the next shot again.
#5: When Max hands Hondo the letter, notice Max's tie is messy & crooked. In the next shot where Hondo's walking away. Max's tie is straight & neat.
#6: When Raymond hits Hondo in his arms with the knives, two blocks or pads can be seen under Hondo's shirt where the knives are stuck.
Rub-a-dub-dub 3 Spies in a Tub #1: In the beginning, Max is holding an envelope with wax on it right-side up. It cuts to 99 & quickly back to Max, who's now holding the envelope upside-down.
#2: Just before the theme song, Max & 99 are "shot". As Max falls, his beret falls off his head & he lands flat across the raft on his back. After the theme song, Max's "body" is shown with his beret back on his head & laying on his side on the raft.
#3: When Seigfried is saying he'll get revenge for blowing up the computer, he's looking at Max & 99. In the next shot, he facing away from them.
#4: The Navy is dropping depth charges at the sub. After a few explode, Seigfried asks the pilot where they are. The driver says, "On the bottom." But with every following shot of the submarine, they are nowhere near the bottom, in fact, they're near the surface the whole time.
The Decoy #1: No one in Control knows Agent X or what he looks like. After Max accidentally attacks him, Chief says, "Don't you know who that is?", no Chief, he doesn't.
#2: Carlson shows Max the chair with the spikes that come through the cushions. They make a noise when they pop out. We then don't see or hear them retract into the chair, but they are retracted the next time the chair is seen.
#3: During the fight between Max & Luden, the stuntmen are very obvious as they look nothing like either actor.
Who Done It? #1: As in the episode "The Amazing Harry Hoo", 99 mentions Harry's white suits, but they are not white, they are light grey.
#2: As 99 exits to look around, Harry has his pad & pen out. As he & Max enter the next room, the pen in his right hand disappears & he's seen putting the pad away in his jacket.
#3: On the beach, 99 inflates the raft & Max puts the oar together. Then Max hands her the oar & she walks away. He's waving at her goodbye, but from the angle of his face & where he's looking, it's obvious she didn't stop to pick up the raft which was in front of them.
#4: Gazzman is sitting in the chair with a newspaper, when Hoo knocks him to the ground, supposed dead or near to it. Max kneels down next to Gazzman. Harry listens as Gazzman whispers to him. Max asks what he said, to which Harry answers, "Your knee is on his chest." But if you watched, Max's knee is nowhere near his chest when he kneels down.
