The sign of the poet or interpreter
February 20th to March 20th
The third water sign: Kind, retiring, gentle, sensitive, unlucky, often moody, indecisive
Ruler: Neptune
Gems: Chysolite, moonstone
Color: Sea green
Metal: Tin
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HIGHER MALE
- The character of this individual is most difficult to define, for there is a tendency to hide the true self which can develop into pretense.
- His lack of interest in worldy ambition and uncaring attitude toward rank or power can mean that he is seldom able to succeed in making large amounts of money.
- Mr. Pisces is inclined to be indifferent about restriction and limitation provided the inner self is left free to feel, dream and grow according to its own nature.
- He may shrink from rivalry or competition, and is attracted to the sea, music or writing, anything that will allow him to create without pressure.
- His gift for interpretation can in many cases take him onto the stage, for he can attain great satisfaction by slipping into another guise and interpreting it, maximum pleasure being obtained when executing this characterization in front of an audience.
- In proportion to the delight taken in such achievements is the measure of despondency after failure, as he is a sensitive man and can suffer considerably when life treats him badly.
- This individual's main affliction seems to be one of indecision, his symbol is easily recognized by the two fishes attempting to swim in opposite directions while their tails are tied together; and this signifies the subject's reaction when faced with a decision, for he will move this way and that achieving no positive result.
- This is a dualistic sign and one can be sure that whatever image is projected is in reality a mere facade hiding the true personality. Such a trait inclines this character to secrecy and is one that most Pisceans will display, frustrating and annoying those close to them.
- The sign endows its subjects with an emotional, receptive, meditative and imitative nature, but although in many ways this is a weak type, Pisceans have a strong inner being plus a heart filled with an exhaustible love for all creatures.
- There is a childlike grace in this man which may continue into advanced age; and he has a keen love of animals.
- The Pisces man is always ready for new impressions, which include an attractive female.
- He believes in fate and is inclined to strange fantasies which many may find beyond reason.
- He is modest and, when things go well, it will not occur to him that he may have had something to do with it; but when life looks black, he will wait fatalistically for something to turn up. When it does, all will be well, but if it does not, then a well-aimed push from a loved one may help the situation.
- On certain days, his wife may receive much attention, frequent phone calls, lover letters or suprise presents, then quite suddenly and for no apparent reason, he will withdraw into his own world, locking her out.
- He needs a female who can provide a stable background, give much love, be romantic when he so desires, and one who can fight the temptation to nag him about responsibility, his secret world or lack of ambition.
- With children, the finest qualitities in him can rise to the surface, and he will be the kind of father to romp with them whenever they want him to, and in time they will come to accept his quieter moods.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HIGHER FEMALE
- The typical woman of this sign is all-female.
- She has much loving kindness, is gentle and possesses a strong and vivid imagination.
- Men are drawn to her, for she is attractive and, they feel sure, quite incapable of looking after herself, with the result that she can arouse the protective instinct in most men.
- If the truth were only known, it would be discovered that Miss Pisces is perfectly equipped for coping with even the toughest side of life, but it is unlikely that the male concerned will ever realize this, for she can make it appear that without him she could not possible manage.
- This female should find a parnter whose imagination is on par with her own, someone she can spoil, flatter and who believes, as she does, in keeping romance alive.
- A jealous streak could cause trouble from time to time, but she is rarely ugly when overtaken by such a mood; usually, she can seem so appealing that her husband will end up feeling guilty and hating himself for causing her a moment's suffering.
- Her love of vulnerable beings is well-developed, and her home could be a haven for pets and children.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LOWER TYPE
- This person is unable to make a decision or exercise any discrimination in his life; he is the despair of friends who may desperately try to influence him.
- The main trouble lies in his receptive powers which are generally too susceptible, for he can listen to one person and act on advice given, and then will change direction on receiving fresh advice from another. Because of this, he may drift hopelessly through life.
- This type can be prone to strange attractions and antipathies, which he will make no attempt to control, and which can lead to participation in almost any sexual deviation.
- A desire for his own secret world is often stimulated further in the lower type by an over-indulgence in drink, and a certain degree of bad luck may also follow him around making life even more difficult.
- Financially, he is hopeless: totally unable to budget, always in debt and sparing little or no thought to the discharging of his creditors.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
- The Piscean will usually have soft skin, hair that is fine and silky, eyes light in color and a pale complexion.
- Many have dimples instead of wrinkles and often the male of the sign is prone to premature aging.
- The features are mobile and plastic, full of personality.
- Extraordinary grace is associated with this subject, and the entire face can come alive when the Piscean is relaxed.
- In health, this type can be somewhat frail, but if he is well-balanced and his activities wisely guided, then good health can be enjoyed.
- The feet are vulnerable and prone to accidents.
PISCES MAN tends to have a slim, straight, graceful body; fine, silky hair; a pale face with light, sad eyes and a few dimples; large ears.
PISCES WOMAN tends to have a very feminine shape with a heavy bust and rather thick limbs; soft hair and skin; thick eyebrows and expressive eyes.
