AQUARIUS (the water-bearer)

• The Aquarian man's greatest gift is his breadth of vision, closely followed by an unbiased and open mind free from superstition or prejudice of any kind.
• Authority will leave him unmoved and, when faced with this, he will regard it with serenity or a degree of friendliness and interest; but no amount of courtesy extended can prevent him from turning the spotlight of truth onto the body concerned.
• This subject is eager to lear from his fellow man, for the only thing of which he is certain is that he has a great deal to learn about the world. He is only too happy to withdraw previously advocated ideas when coming to realize that they are at fault.
• He can look at life from the outside rather than from the center, and is rarely able to place trust in others until he has scrutinized, studied and probed them, dissecting their reasons for thought or action.
• He is unlikely to approve should he discover that his own methods have been turned upon himself, however, and will grow restless and uncomfortable when in this position.
• This type's emotions are far-reaching and widespread; his feeling for mankind humane and kindly; and it is said that the Aquarian is the hope of man.
• Friendship for him is founded on understanding and personal esteem; and his affections are well worth having as this is the most sincere of men.
• He can be lonely on occasions, for it is difficult for him to settle down to a steady relationship of any description, and where memory is deficient loyalty can hardly expect to flourish.
• Time is given unsparingly to revealing the truth and to telling it. Obviously, this tendency can lead to embarrassing situations; and he may become notorious for his faux pas.
• The roots of his relationships will spring from friendship, for he chooses a chum as well as a lover, the one being inadequate without the other one, and a woman free from pettiness will be the female to attract him.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HIGHER FEMALE

• This woman is attractive to the opposite sex, they like the way she can point out their assets; alhtough they are not so delighted when she also ferrets out their weaknesses and suggests a way for them to prove themselves.
• Any jealous man who attepts to restrain her interests or contacts is in for a shock; for he will be dismissed as soon as these tendencies come to the surface.
• Miss Aquarius rarely rushes into marriage, and if a youthful engagement is entered into she may keep the unfortunate man waiting for years before she will enter into the final commitment.
• Often others may decide that she is cold for she tends to listen to analyze, and then try to reform her man, rarely being carried away by emotion.
• This is an attractive female physically, but many will be disillusioned by her cool facade and go on their way.
• Later, she could suddenly realize that all of her friends are settled and wonder why she is not.
• In order to find her own happiness, she should look for a man with a similar outlook to her own and try to refrain from rearranging every male she meets, depsite the fact that she is probably right.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LOWER TYPE

• The wonderful broad mind of the Aquarian is distorted here by growing too wide, creating inefficiency; practical considerations are lost in haziness, and though this character will know that there are many things he could do, deciding where and when to start is something he seems incapable of doing.
• Opportunities are lost by wavering and time is wasted over trifles.
• Difficulties are blundered into through lack of tact or consideration and the power of concentration is almost non-existent.
• The lower Aquarian can often be accused of cowardice.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• The Aquarian usually has clear-cut features and a noble profile, often the male has a distincly feminine shape while the female may have a boyish frame.
• A drooping head is common to this sign giving the appearance of deep thought.
• The voice is gentle, the movements leisurely as are the thoughts, and laughter is unusual for a winning smile is more characteristic.
• This sign rules the blood; sluggish circulation manifests itself with cold hands and feet.
• Any impurity is likely to be in this area and should be watched for in order to avoid more seious trouble.
• Fresh air seems to be congenial to this type when under par.
