Unless there's another one we don't know about! 9/21/05 - Ah, last words and their fame... No sooner did I make that post about the delays of the new website, than Colin went right ahead and did it! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... THE NEW HOME OF THE DEMONS OF STUPIDITY!

Pretty neat, huh? Not a whole lotta stuff there yet, but that'll change in no time flat-- among the features looming on the horizon are a Demons of Stupidity newsblog, an honest-to-god photo gallery, an up-to-the-minute guide to upcoming Demons shows (which should be increasingly frequent), and some new goddamn songs!

Of course, all of this means that this is, in all likelihood, the last (or possibly second-to-last) post on this website. So long, Geocities. You were... well, you were free, and that's all that matters.

9/13/05 - So, you may have noticed I haven't updated this thing for a while. There's actually a reason for this. As has been hinted before, we have secured the domain name DemonsOfStupidity.net, and our good pal Colin at Watching the Detectives has agreed to host it. The reason I haven't been updating is so's I can save it for the new site. However, as it turns out, Colin and I are lazy bastards, and still haven't gotten around to designing the damn thing. It is still coming. But in the meantime, we have an actual news bulletin!

Tuesday, September 20th, at 7:00 PM, the Demons will be playing a free show at the Barnes & Noble Cafe in Boston's Prudential Center! Expect a whole buncha new songs, all played in an intimate, guitar/autoharp/whatever-Stacey-can-grab arrangement. Be there!

3/10/05 - GIG ALERT!

Oh my... Are you sitting down? Good, because on April 2nd, at AfterHours (Northeastern University's on-campus nightclub), the Demons of Stupidity will play a gig with the man, the legend... Bruce Campbell! If you've ever seen any of the Evil Dead movies, or Bubba Ho-Tep, you don't need to be told how much this rocks. More details as they develop...

2/27/05 - In keeping with our trend of pervading every cyber-self-promotion fad that comes down the pike, the Demons of Stupidity now have a MySpace account! Again, like the PureVolume site, there's not much there you can't get here-- with two major exceptions. First, if you're a member of MySpace, you can add us as a friend, thereby (theoretically, at least) spreading the gospel of the Demons. And secondly, I added smartass graphics for each song! Hooray!

Oh, and while I realize that I say this all the goddamn time, believe me when I say there are major developments in the works. Stay tuned...

1/17/05 - New (read: almost two years old) song in The Vault. Which Demons standard got revamped? Click and find out!

12/27/04 - The Cafe Tuesday gig at Parker went smashingly. What's that you say? You missed it? Fret not! You can experience it vicariously through Generic Rehash, Oscar's gripping (if mildly masturbatory) reflection on the night! Read, dammit!

Also, it might (okay, won't) interest you to note that the History section has been slightly retooled for easy use, and a few new points of interest have been added in the early 2003 area. Because you can't spell "anal retentive" without "Demons of Stupidity!" (Actually, yes you can. But you will need some of those letters, I'll bet!)
