The Discussion Board
- Q: Do you think the Salem witch trials were justified?
A: GimmickSC- Well, no they were based on false accusations, and I
don’t believe in witchcraft.
- Q: Were the Salem witch trials, victims of McCarthyism? Which was
also related to the Communist trials of the Hollywood Nine.
A: Kylepjp- Yes, they both were victims of McCarthyism; for the very
definition of McCarthyism is “accusations given without any clear
evidence.”
- Q: Is there such things as witchcraft in today’s world as well as in the
past?
A: atthedriveian- Not literally, there was acts that were done that was
thought to be sorcery yet it was not. The Bible points out that any source
of magic was only caused through a person with the help of the Devil or
demons. In other words no one person can do magic without the help of a
higher spirit. Even the acts done by Psychics are helped or altered by The
Devil and his demons. So I guess in a sense there is sorcery in the world
but it can not alone be caused by a person; one needs help from the
wicked Devil or his demons.
- Q: Is sorcery or the act of witchcraft accepted by your religion?
A: maliebluj- Heck no. Are you stupid? I can’t think of any religion that
would find it okay.
- Q: Do you think that Psychics practice witchcraft or the act of sorcery?
A: favybaby - Yes, most definitely. They give fortunes, foretell the
future, or reveal one’s private secrets. This is a sense of sorcery. Yet they
do not foretell or reveal such facts without help; The Devil and his
demons give the Psychic the strength to do so.
