On the south side of Brisbane City an original Queensland heritage trust building has been purchased by the Chinese Kung Fu Academy. Grandmaster Sifu Henry Sue and the students from the academy's other branches are restoring the heritage - listed cinema building ( built early last century) and transforming it into a monument to Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Earlier in the year Grandmaster Sifu Henry Sue informed the students that the Academy had purchased a property in Brisbane and that a new Australian headquarters would soon be established. Sifu Henry Sue was excited and a little concerned with the task that lay ahead. Like everything Sifu undertakes, it is long-term perfection that he is trying to achieve, however administering this to a dilapidated old building has been a difficult task. Restoring the cinema has proven a massive effort that has required an enormous amount of work from the foundations up. Just like Tong Long the foundations must be strong. Attention was focused on restrengthening the original foundations and creating a strong enough base to support the original cinema floor that had to be raised and leveled. Every morning work begins on the site at 7 am. Volunteers and Sufi Henry are carrying  out the work six days a week with Dai Sihing Richard and Sihing Jim as stable hands. Kung Fu takes discipline, perseverance and hard work. These basic principles of kung fu are being put to use in the construction of the new headquarters. As the students transform the building to accommodate for over a hundred students, the academy is still operating strongly. Classes continue as normal and with great energy as everyone prepares for the opening of the new headquarters that will take place early next year with Grandmaster Sigung Nat Yuen flying from Hong Kong for the official ceremony.

The new headquarters of the Chinese Kung Fu Academy is located on Stanley Street in South Brisbane. The school when finished will be the most advanced training hall in Australia, with top class instructors and custom made training equipment lining the walls. "A first of its kind in Australia," says Grandmaster Sufi Henry Sue has a skill in evaluating a potential diamond from a rough stone.

In 2002 the Australian National Headquarters for Dong Gong Chow Gar Tong Long Kung Fu was officially opened in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
