Europe Goes into Meltdown over the Spread of English Pharmers’ Disease. |

Thursday November 16th 2000: The Day’s Events.Automobile Association moves in for the Kill. Now that motorists have reasserted their supremacy in the government’s transport priorities, the aa wades in to suggest that if the countryside is to be covered in new housing estates there will have to be fast and efficient roads to connect them to the rest of the country. Prescott has made a huge effort to halt road building but has always encouraged house building so perhaps he might now begin to realize the two are one and the same thing - new roads attract new houses, and new houses require new roads. Labour does a PR job on Urban Dwellers. The government launches a campaign to make the public aware of its plans for the regeneration of urban areas. Is it possible that, at long last, the government is going to invest vast amounts of money to improve urban living conditions for the vast numbers of urbanites who voted for the labour party at the last general election? Not likely. Firstly, there is no new money in the scheme. The campaign is about spending the billion pounds that has already been announced .. twice. Secondly, there are no proposals for legislation to make it difficult for property developers to build more houses in the countryside. The only way to regenerate urban areas is to encourage people to move back into urban and inner city areas and the key precondition for this is to ban the building of more houses in the countryside. But the labour government will not do this. On the contrary, it will soon reveal plans to make it easier to build in the countryside. Tony travers rightly points out, “Despite the fanfare when the urban white paper was launched, there was nothing for the cities in the Queen's speech. Could that be because, read back-to-back with last week's rural white paper, the two contradict each other? Between them, the government intends to make it less likely that people will quit metropolitan centres and more likely that those who live in rural areas will be happy. The two objectives do not add up.” [181] One of the reasons the government won’t introduce such a change is because so many pharmers enjoy a huge financial nest-egg when they retire - they buy agricultural land for next to nothing and then sell it for vast sums of money as land for industrial/housing development. They make millions of pounds out of a commodity they bought for peanuts. There is no free market in agricultural land in brutland. In brutland, land is designated into three categories - for housing, industry, and agriculture. The first two are subject to the laws of the free market, so the price of the land is high, whereas the third is no so its price is far below that of other land. What is more, pharmers are allowed to do anything they want on their land because it is virtually free from planning restrictions. And they do not have to pay any rates on it either. As a consequence, if planning permission is given for a change in use of this cheap agricultural land its value increases dramatically to market levels. This is yet another anti-market privilege granted solely to pharmers and the rest of the land-owning elite. In addition it ought to be remembered that whilst industry is run according to free market principles and overseen by the world terrorist organization, whereas the pharming industry, which is outside the market system, is not overseen by the wto. Whilst brutish pharmers are given endless subsidies with impunity, the rest of society is denied such subsidies. Blair’s Spectacular Betrayal of Decency.Blair’s capitulation to the landowning pharming aristocracy, the countryside alliance, and the rural car lobby, started when he stabbed jack cunningham in the back as secretary of state for agriculture. Since that moment, the blair government has been granting vast subsidies to pharmers and rural development at the expense of the regeneration of urban areas. But, it has to be suspected, even if the government hadn’t given vast subsidies to pharmers and rural dwellers, it is highly unlikely it would have invested the money in urban areas. It is more than likely the labour government welcomed being ‘forced’ to spend so much money on rural areas - it’s just the excuse that blair needed to avoid spending money on urban areas. If the government hadn’t forked out so much money on subsidies to pharmers, it would probably have continued repaying the country’s national debt rather than renovating urban areas. As far as the labour government is concerned spending money on decaying, crime-ridden, rubbish-strewn, urban areas is an extravagant subsidy, a handout to drop-outs, but spending money on rural areas and pharmers slaughtering innocent Animals and ruining the environment, is a sound investment in the country’s future - even though large sections of the Animal enslavement industry would be unprofitable without government subsidies! Over the last three years it has poured vast sums of money into the hands of pharmers and rural areas to the neglect of sick miners, bse-cjd victims, pensioners, and urban areas, not forgetting nurses in hospitals. In this country, huge subsidies are being given to pharmers: * to do something e.g. slaughter Animals, * or to not do something e.g. set aside; * or to rectify the damage that pharmers have caused in using its subsidies: firstly, the ooman health problems resulting from the massive quantities of pollution pharmers are dumping into the environment; secondly, the ooman health problems caused by pharmers’ liberal use of antibiotics on slave Animals; thirdly, the property damage resulting from pharmer induced global burning e.g. flooding; and, finally, the property damage caused by pharmers ruination of the country’s Biodiversity. What is so remarkable about blair’s government is that it has handed back to the tories the huge power that people invested in the government at the 1997 general election. Blair has returned this power to the tories in order that the labour government could protect itself against the demands of its own party members and supporters. It is commonly held that the powerful do not give away power but, in the case of the blair government, this could not be more wrong. As soon as blair had won a landslide election victory he, and peter mandelson, set about returning this power to its rightful owners - the bank of england was given its independence; the government followed tory spending limits for its first two years in office; he reformed the house of lords but allowed tory domination to continue because he knew this would prevent his government being forced by its own mps, party members, and labour voters, to ban Fox hunting and other radical policies; he sacked cunningham and dropped the reforms of the pharming industry; allowed the maffia and pharmers to reassert their age-old supremacy over the secretary of state for agriculture; he exposed the appalling miscarriages of justice that had been carried out by the country’s judiciary and then just let them off the hook without any major changes to their composition; and, despite being a strong euro supporter, he just sat back during the last three months of 1999, and allowed anti-euro loonies to dominate the media with anti-euro scaremongering even though this led to a significant drop in his government’s popularity - and even more amazingly the tories were being aided and abetted by fat chops brown under the guidance of the ministry of agriculture! Blair’s betrayal of his own party and his supporters has been spectacular. Few labour prime ministers have been invested with such a golden opportunity for radical changes to sweep away privileges and injustices. And yet he did not squander his chances of modernizing brutland but deliberately threw them away. As a consequence, the air of repressive, bigoted, conventionality hangs over this government as much as it did for the previous couple of decades. He refuses to promote anything but the most fundamentally retarded conservative values. [182] He has not merely betrayed his party and the people who voted for him he has betrayed decency. Bse-Cjd could still be around at the end of the 21st Century.Dealler quotes an article in the independent that collinge believes bse could still be around at the end of the century, “Collinge quoted as saying "We may well see vcjd well into the second half of this century" in New Scientist. He takes this from the long incubation period of the disease, the fact that it has come from another species and because relatively small doses will have been eaten. Also at the moment we are only seeing MM cases...and the others may well just be incubating the disease for longer.” [183] Dealler comments on this, “Not at all surprising. Others have said the same thing.” Friday November 17th 2000: Suing the Eco-Nazis.The two french families suing the french government over the deaths of their children from bse-cjd have also decided to sue the brutish government. In brutland, the government decided last month to give £1 million to be shared out amongst the families of bse-cjd victims to keep them quiet about the deaths of their children. Quite appallingly, this seems to have satisfied them even though a few weeks later the government doled out £1.78 billion in compensation to the people who had murdered their children. It is not commonly known but the tory government forked out £500,000 for a pharmer whose prized Cow was suspected of having bse and was put down - it’s a shame such a policy doesn’t also apply to members of the maffia. The mundi club would like to express its great admiration to the french couples embarking on their compensation fight for they seem to have a lot more backbone in comparison to their puerile, pathetic, brutish counterparts. We wish them well in exposing the corrupt, degenerate, liars in the tory/labour governments and the maffia. Saturday November 18th 2000: In Brutland, Politics returns to Normal.Having capitulated to the pharmers for the last three and a half years and paid off the fuel tax protestors with vast bribes, it’s ‘politics as normal’ for our vacuous, boneless prime minister, “Tony blair warned animal rights and gm food protestors yesterday that blackmail would not deflect his support for cutting edge science. And he vowed to support research which he said was vital to beat Aids, cancer and heart disease.” [184] Sunday November 19th 2000: More Rural Compensation. The government attempts to woo over rural voters and thereby further neglect its urban supporters, is reaching almost fantastical proportions, “A free taxi will be on offer for every village in the country under the government’s latest plan to beat rural poverty. Deputy premier john prescott is to give parish councils millions of pounds to buy 8-seater” people carriers” like tony blair’s ford galaxy. Any local resident could then pick up the keys and take the neighbours on a shopping trip. The plan will be part of prescott’s rural white paper later this month.” [185] It’s impossible to imagine that if thatcher was in power she would even contemplated anything similar for working class people or the unemployed living on outer estates throughout the country. If a labour government had made such an announcement the tories would have found the whole idea utterly outrageous and typical of labour’s nanny state mentality and would have whipped up public hysteria against it, but because its money going to rural areas then its a perfectly reasonable investment. Tuesday November 21st 2000: The Day’s Events.More Countries banning Brutish Bseef Blood; Smelling the Blood of an Englishman.Belgium and austria become the sixth and seventh countries to ban the blood of uk citizens .. "Belgium, Austria and some german states, as well as switzerland, are already following the example of the united states, australia, canada and new zealand in banning donations from anyone who spent more than six months in the uk between 1980 and 1996, the years in which exposure to bse through infected meat, vaccines, cosmetics or other possible routes was highest." [186] Dealler also includes hong kong, “So far the list of countries that have banned the donation by people that have visited UK for specific length of time: Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, UKA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong.” [187] The Cover up of Bse in the European Union. The european commission wanted all Cattle tested for bse in the hope of quelling the mounting bse crisis in europe. However, european governments rejected the proposal because they believed it would subject them to the same problems as france is currently experiencing, “European Union agriculture ministers have agreed on new tests in an attempt to combat mad cow disease - but have put on hold a wide-scale testing programme requested by the European Commission. The ministers decided after a 16-hour all-night sitting to test only cattle "at risk" of bse, aged over 30 months. The european commission, with the backing of France, the current holder of the EU presidency, wanted to see a more stringent scheme put into place, which would have involved the testing of some six million cattle. Instead, tests will begin in January only on cattle in herds where bse has already been identified. The new scheme is expected to have virtually no impact in the UK, where animals over 30 months are in any case not allowed to enter the food chain.” [188] The bbc describes the agreement in more glowing terms, “A sweeping new testing programme for "mad cow" disease has been agreed by eu agriculture ministers after talks which ended in Brussels early today. Millions of cows will be tested for the disease under the biggest anti-bse programme yet proposed by the European Commission.” [189] In brutland, bse has been flourishing for at least 15 years and yet, firstly, no government, either tory or labour, has carried out a mass testing for the disease and, secondly, no government has tried to ensure the discovery of a quick and cheap diagnostic test for the disease. Is this failure to find a test due to scientists’ stupidity or because rancid tory/labour politicians have refused to fund the necessary research? Once again, the european commission has tried to come to the rescue of brutish consumers, insisting on a course of action that had been ruled out in the pharmer-dominated brutish society. The rejection of the commission’s proposals was almost certainly initiated by brutland - other countries are likely to have followed suite because they know this country is a world leader in lies and prevarications over this disease. The brutish government is opposed to such tests because it knows they will reveal that bse is rife throughout brutish herds. France is also giving huge subsidies to Pharmers for spreading Bse and Bse-cjd.Just as has been the case in brutland, france is giving lavish compensation to the mass murderers in the pharming industry to ensure these eco-nazis can get back to slaughtering Animals and devastating the environment as quickly as possible .. “the French Government announced it was giving $426m (FF3.24bn) in emergency aid, to help farmers and meat industry recover from the crisis.” [190] ; “Sales of beef in France have slumped by half as a UK-style consumer scare spreads. Meanwhile, the French Government said it will allocate 3.24 billion francs (£295 million) to help the meat industry recover from the crisis.” [191] The last thing the french government wants is for pharmers to go out of business because firstly, it wouldn’t have a group to give such gigantic subsidies; secondly, there wasn’t another group willing to hold the country to ransom for cheaper fuel; and thirdly, no other group was capable of exacerbating global burning, and transforming the landscape into a vast drainage network so that even a drizzle poses a flood risk. Who else but pharmers are going to be at the forefront of militant opposition to action on global burning and the Reforestation of the land needed to stabilize the climate? Whatever the french and brutish governments do they have to lavish huge subsidies on the members of the waffen bsse. Brutish Right Wingers seeking to Exploit the Bse crisis in France. The right wing press in brutland demands that the labour government should ban french bseef because of the recent rise in bse cases. It enjoys making this demand firstly, because it will help brutish pharmers sell their own supplies of bseef; secondly, it’s great indulging in patriotism by slagging off foreigners; thirdly, it’s a good bit of retaliation for what the french have done to brutish pharmers over the last year; and, finally, it’s another opportunity for bashing the labour government as it did during the last three months of 1999, “Tony Blair was under pressure last night to ban French beef products after a senior Cabinet minister warned him that bse-infected beef from France could have disappeared into the food chain. The alarm was raised with the Prime Minister by Nick Brown, the Agriculture Minister. He told him that there was a risk that beef aged over 30 months from France and other EU states could have reached the food market through lack of sufficient checks and controls. Mr Brown wrote last Friday to Mr Blair and Alan Milburn, the Health Secretary. He warned them that older beef can be legally imported into Britain even though it is illegal to sell it for human consumption. A senior government source confirmed that Mr Brown had raised the issue in talks with a number of colleagues privately and believed that he had to raise formally his concerns within the government. Last night Hugh Leman, of Cumberland Meat Packing, in Coventry, who raised concerns about the old meat to the FSA six months ago, reiterated his claim that more than a million tonnes of beef from old dairy cattle has been imported into the UK from the EU in the past five years. Mr Brown believes that the public would be appalled if they were being sold meat that failed British safety checks. He has made clear to other ministers that he believes that diplomatic niceties should be ignored if there is any risk to consumers.” [192] It hasn’t take long for right wing, anti-euro loonies in brutland to seize on the bse crisis in france to restart their campaign of europhobia since this is still the tories only populist policy which stands any chance of winning the next election. What is so surprising is that, just as happened towards the end of 1999, bseef chops brown is once again providing them with all the ammunition they need for attacking his own government. The above article is obviously quoting from an off the record briefing by nick brown so the question which needs to be posed is why is he trying yet again to undermine his own government? During the last three months of 1999 brown had helped the tories to stir up anti-euro paranoia in the country which inflicted considerable political damage on the labour government’s popularity so either he still hasn’t learnt the lesson or he’s determined to sabotage his own government. Quite why blair hasn’t got rid of this fat arsed, fat faced, idiot for causing so much damage to the government is difficult to understand. It is remarkable that brutish tories could knowingly provoke two deadly diseases across the european continent, and yet manage to whip up public animosity towards europe even though the european commission has done more to protect public health in the uk than the tory government. The Numbers of Bse cases in Europe and Bseland. From the way bseef chops brown and the right wing press are screaming about the threat posed by french bseef it would seem as if there are far more cases of bse in france than there are in bseland. But, of course, this is just another lie - which, once again, will help to spread bse even further amongst brutish livestock .. “france has this year had only 99 cases compared with 1,141 in britain.” [193] In other words, although there are ten times more recorded cases of bse in bseland than there are in france, fat chops brown and the ‘death-R-us’ pharmers’ brigade believe that brutish bseef is safe to eat, but french bseef is not! The contrast between bse cases in bseland and france is even greater than the above figures indicate. In france many of the bse victims are amongst older Cattle whereas in brutland, the disease is appearing amongst Cattle under 30 months. The fact that many Calves in bseland are still contracting the disease reveals its virulence for the disease usually takes five years to incubate. The fact that so many are contracting the disease after only 30 months means there must be hundreds of thousands of Cattle with the pre-clinical forms of the disease. If people eat bseef as a result of the government’s lie about the supposed health of brutish bseef and contract bse-cjd then, in effect, ‘fat chops’ brown is responsible for murdering them. He ought to be tried for mass murder. The only reason he might get away with murdering so many people is because of the difficulty in proving the connection but there is undoubtedly a connection. It’s best to view every statement uttered by bulbous chops’ brown, the maffia, and the pharmers unions, as a lie and regard the exact opposite of what they say as the truth. Blair decides to join Euro Rapid Response Force.Blair announces the brutish army is to join a european rapid response force. [194] This could be a major historic announcement - if it goes ahead. It symbolizes that brutland is going to rely for its security more on europe than on america and american dominance of nato. This had to be consequence of the americans’ refusal to use troops in the recent kosovo conflict. At long last there is some hope of a european army that might act as a counterweight in global politics to the jingoistic, gung-ho, extremism of right wing american governments. The brutish right wing erupts in fury at what it calls the creation of a european army. The hysterical loonies in the tory party believe this is an example of european integrationism and a step in the direction of a european superstate. For the first time since he became leader of the labour party, seven years ago, blair is not sitting quietly allowing right wing euro-loonies to spout anti-european propaganda and dictate government policy over europe, “Tony blair yesterday attacked the tory press for whipping up hysteria over plans for a european defence force. He said, “Even by the standards of our anti-european media, some of the coverage in the newspapers is fundamentally dishonest.” [195] However, the bse crisis in europe is going to prove an invaluable source of propaganda for the euro-sceptics who want to bash europe and the brutish government. Pharmers get the Police to beat up the Miners and now they’re poisoning them with Bse.“The village of Armthorpe, in South Yorkshire, has had a few brushes with fame. .. during the 1984 miners’ strike television cameras were an everyday fixture on its streets, recording often violent scenes outside the doomed Markham Main pit.” [196] Pharmers encouraged the police to beat up striking miners because they were being given subsidies which the pharmers wanted and then, just to make sure they would be a spent political force, they poisoned them with bse. Wednesday November 22nd 2000: The Day’s Events.Sales of Bseef across Europe Plummeting. The spread of bse across europe is leading to similar consequences to those that happened in bseland and france, “Meanwhile, consumers throughout France are breaking ingrained habits and avoiding red meat, while in Italy concern verging on hysteria has spread quickly among Italian shoppers. Vincenzo Cremonini, chief executive of Inalca, which supplies McDonald's in Italy, Greece and Cyprus, confirms that meat sales at Italian supermarkets plunged by between 40 percent and 50 percent last week while those at independent butchers were down by 30 percent. Catering and restaurant outlets, the category which includes McDonald's, saw less significant falls of between 10 percent and 15 percent.” [197] Germans might ban Brutish Lamb.“German health experts may ban british lamb and beef in the wake of the bse scare, it was revealed last night. Talks will take place in germany this week to discuss the idea.” [198] France’s objections to European Governments’ Banning the Importation of French Bseef.France is beginning to experience some of the frustrations felt by the brutish government when the european commission banned brutish bseef exports, “Anger flared in France yesterday over the European Union’s “unfair” treatment of its beef as protesting politicians began to sound like members of John Major’s Government in the depths of the 1996 bse crisis. The indignation was spurred by the decision of e.u. states to impose bans of varying types on French beef over bse and by what was seen as French humiliation at a Brussels council of farm ministers. As Britain did in the 1990s, France now feels under European siege over its beef. “What is the point of Europe?” screamed the front page of Le Parisien after Jean Glavany, the French Agriculture Minister, failed yesterday to persuade the eu Commission to rule on the restrictions on French meat and animal feed, imposed by Italy, Spain, Greece and the Netherlands. M Glavany, who chairs the EU farm council, also failed to persuade the continental EU to follow France’s ban on the use of meat-and-bone meal, but he had to promise that no French meal would leave the country. He did manage to win agreement on extending diagnostic tests to cattle older than 30 months across the EU. France was being penalised because its strict control measures had exposed a certain level of bse, said M Jospin. His argument, widely shared by the media, is that France is leading the way in anti-bse measures while other continental EU states are dishonestly claiming that they were unaffected by the disease. “If you don’t look, you won’t find anything,” said M Jospin, referring to France’s extensive campaign of diagnostic testing, which has helped to bring the total of bse cases this year to more than 100.” [199] A number of points deserve to be highlighted. Firstly, the bse tests apply only to Cattle over 30 months of age and thus do not include brutish Cattle which are slaughtered before this limit, “A huge testing programme to stop “mad cow” disease entering the European Union food chain will start in the new year. The first phase will target “at-risk” cattle — those over 30 months who are more likely to develop signs of the disease. It is thought about 400,000 may be tested, although Britain will be exempt because it does not allow meat from older animals into the food chain. It was clear last night that Sweden, Finland, Austria and Denmark will resist participation because they are low-risk countries.” [200] Secondly, france is justifiably angry about countries banning its bseef given that it’s the only country carrying out tests to find out the scale of the disease, “Before this week's meeting only France had embarked on a large-scale programme of random testing for bse in cattle. ” [201] Thirdly, it’s remarkable that, despite the fact that european countries witnessed the speed with which bse swept through brutish herds they’re still refusing to ban the use of mbm. Talk about not learning the lessons of the present let alone those from history. Nfu Calm about French Bse.In brutland, the national pharmers union, usually at the forefront of demands that people eat brutish bseef, is surprisingly moderate over the idea of banning french bseef. It probably feels that the more talk there is in the media about bse, including bans on bseef, the more it will remind consumers about the risks of eating brutish bseef, “The tories seized on a report that nick brown has warned mr blair that bse tainted french beef may be able to enter the u.k. But the government declined to substantiate the report and the national farmers union went out of its way to play down the dangers of eating french beef.” [202] Brutish Thugs promise large-scale Bse Tests for the first Time in 15 Years. The brutish government has announced it .. “will undertake 17,000 random tests on older Cattle killed in slaughterhouses and fallen stock over the next year. Smaller scale checks have in the past suggested 0.3% of such Animals in britain may have bse .. Other e.u. countries have barely 1500 cases between them and even france has this year had only 99 cases compared with 1,141 in britain.” [203] Thursday November 23rd 2000: The Day’s Events.Labour By-election Victories.Labour wins all four by-elections but with a much reduced turnout - many urbanites are sick of the government’s betrayal of their interests. Pharmers’ Disease Spreads to Spain. It was noted on friday november 10th that the swiss government admitted two new cases of bse which triggered the government into enacting new anti-bse measures. Today, it’s the turn of the spanish government to admit it is sampling the world-famous, english tory-pharmer disease, “Mad cow disease spread to Spain yesterday with the Spanish Government admitting that at least one animal was infected with the disease and that there may be other cases.” [204] Friday November 24th 2000: The Day’s Events.More Countries banning French Bseef.“Greece, Italy, Spain and Russia are among the countries that have restricted French beef imports, and on Friday Jordan announced a ban on imports of beef from the whole of the European Union.”[205] Brutland’s Spongy Empire breaches German Defences.Another major calamity in europe over bse. Brutland’s spongy empire suddenly invades germany, supposedly europe’s impregnable bastion against the spread of brutland’s zombie disease - the country where people still merrily consume Cattle brains, “Europe's crisis over bse, or mad cow disease, broadened to Germany on Friday when the first positive tests on German-born cows finally shattered the country's claims to be bse-free.” [206] Brutland’s Spongy Empire reaches the Azores.Bse has also reached the azores, “The infected cow in the Azores marked the first time the disease has popped up there. The cow was a five-year-old animal imported from Germany's Hanover region in 1998, according to the regional agriculture authority.” [207] Brutland’s Spongy Empire has a Domino Effect on Europe: European Bseef industry goes into freefall. These events are remarkable. Within a matter of days more and more european countries have confessed to having bse. On november 10th the swiss admitted to having more cases of bse; yesterday the spanish government admitted its first indigenous case of bse; and today, germany and the azores admit to their first indigenous cases. It is strange that these confessions have emerged all at the same time. It does seem more than coincidental that, after a decade of european denials about bse, they should suddenly all declare they now have the problem. The consequence of this series of confessions is waves of fear sweeping across the continent, “Germany and Portugal's Azores Islands recorded new cases of mad cow disease Friday, highlighting the brain-wasting disease's rapid spread across European borders amid growing consumer alarm and fears of health risks for humans.” [208] French Pharmers take to the Streets demanding never Ending subsidies to produce more Bseef.“French farmers took to the streets friday to protest against what they said are inadequate government measures to help them offset the costs of the country's deepening mad cow crisis. Farmers blocked railway lines between Nantes and Angers in the southwest causing major delays, and set up a mock cattle market in front of government offices in the Normandy town of Alencon. Suspicions that bse might be more widespread than previously thought were confirmed Friday with Germany - which has prided itself on the good health of its national herd - reporting its first ever case of bse. Last week the French government imposed a ban on animal products in feed for livestock, and launched a public relations campaign to try to convince consumers to come back to beef.” [209] Anti-Euro Cretin Denouncing European Bseef in order to make it appear that Brutish Bseef is safe.In brutland, tim yeo, an arch euro-sceptical tory mp, with a vested interest in denouncing everything european, criticizes the safety of french bseef thereby making it appear that brutish bseef is safe. Although the brutish government has refused to carry out tests to discover the scale of bse in brutish bseef, one propaganda tactic to make it appear safe is to denounce foreign bseef as being infected by bse, “Shadow agriculture minister Tim Yeo said: "Far from cosmetic checks by the Food Standards Agency, what the British consumer wants is an immediate ban on French beef. It is scandalous that Tony Blair has not got the guts to tell France that its beef is unsafe and that Britain will ban it. Sending officials from the FSA, which is supposed to be independent of ministers, to France to search for reasons for banning French beef, neither protects British consumers nor preserves the independence of the agency." [210] It’s becoming obvious that one of the reasons the tory-pharmers party don’t want to be in europe is because the european commission is now demanding extensive testing of bseef and the last thing the tories want is for the public to discover the scale of the bse epidemic raging in this country. End of Flood Warnings in the y.uk.The november floods have only just started subsiding, “There were no severe flood warnings in britain yesterday for the first time in weeks, experts confirmed.” [211] Pharmers helping to Spread Hospital Infections. The government highlights the high death rates resulting from patients contracting infections in dirty hospitals, “Infections picked up in hospitals are killing 5,000 people a year, a report warned. The disclosure comes from the house of commons public accounts committee, which calls for the health service to “get a grip” on the crisis which is costing the nhs a £1billion a year. The report found that at least 100,000 patients fall victim each year to hospital bugs.” [212] It has to be suspected that Pharmers are responsible for promoting these infections because of the huge number of drugs it feeds to slave Animals to prevent outbreaks of disease. |
