Description: Bike is in good condition overall, but missing fenders and has replacement seat and handle grips. Great web page! It's always nice to see people sharing their knowledge of a hobby with others who enjoy the same. Thank you. I remember watching Donnie Osmond riding a Swing bike on the Donny and Marie show. I remember him criss-crossing the bike through a row of pylons on stage. This made it look like he was going in a straight line. He also rode across the stage with the front wheel on the step to the higher level and the rear wheel on stage. After seeing that show, I had to have one. I remember seeing a green one for sale at the local Schwinn shop but I couldn't afford to buy it. That was the only one I ever saw. I went to the Ann Arbor, Michigan bike show about five years ago and saw an orange one for sale. I think I was more excited than when I wanted one as a kid. After almost twenty years, I finally got my Swing bike! I had a cheap orange bike as a kid so the orange color on the Swing bike was an added bonus. I have the advertisement / order form from the Boy's Life magazine. Did you notice that they reversed the artwork? The sprocket and hand brake give it away. I added my bike to your registery. My serial number is 002035. Do you know what number they started at? My bike is missing the fenders and has a replacement seat and handle grips. Do you know is anybody has these parts for sale? Looking forward to seeing new additions to your web page!

Description: My bike was found in the backyard of my new house in Layton Utah in 1994. It was missing the seat, rear wheel, brake system, and the chain was rusted. I did a cheap repaint on it to make it look better and had the fenders rechromed. I put on a new rear wheel and freewheel sprocket. I would like to find an origional seat for it and maybe some origional pedals if that is possible. Thanks, Charlie.

Description: This bike was purchased new by our neighbors in the late 70s. When they were cleaning out their garage they planned to haul it to Goodwill but my dad, Greg, pulled it out of the truck and stuck it away in our garage. It's all original including the brake pads, decals, reflectors, etc. The only thing we've had to do to it is replaced the chain. I'm 10 years old and really like riding it. Lots of people ask about it when they see me riding around the neighborhood. I didn't realize how valuable it was.

Description: Some chrome peeling on the handlebar. Small scratches on the top tube where by kid brother slung his foot over it while I wasn't home!! Bought this bike new in '76. Had a franchise (it's a long story, I was 12 years old...) I still have brochures, the promotional 45 record, etc. packed away somewhere. Oh, and that's NOT the only chrome SB. I was in Logan on a vacation in 1976 and visited the importer's offices there was a chrome SB in the office (with silver glitter streamers on the handlebar!) which was the property of one Marie Osmond ...

Description: Never sold new, and put away for 10 years. I bought it from a Schwinn dealer in Chicago on a tip from you, Bob. 9.5 on a scale of ten. No rust, original tires, one or two nicks in the paint. Seat is original, and, I think the padding is showing its age (not too comfortable). This bike even came with the reflectors on the wheels!!!

Description: My swinger is really beat up. I've been riding it sinced I was 6, now 23. Not to many original parts. Pretty scratched up, but I ride it to class, the bars and wherever else. Only seen one other that was in mint condition. I've been looking for years to find any information on SB finally I came across your homepage. THANKYOU!!! If their's anyone looking to get rid of one I'm very interested. Was thinking about putting a springer front end on the front of mine, making it near impossible for any rookie to ride it.
