Material:

Each entrant, solo or ensemble, should be prepared to perform from memory one or two compositions from the standard repertory of Baroque, Classic, Romantic, or Modern composers. In general, only compositions originally written for the instrument are to be used. ABRIDGED AND SIMPLIFIED EDITIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. ARRANGEMENTS ARE ALSO NOT ACCEPTABLE except for certain standard solo and ensemble numbers that must be approved by the concert chairman prior to the auditions. Students are required to bring their music to the audition, but NO XEROX COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED (unless the music is permanently out of print).
