Chapter Two

By Julie

*Chris*

I was still sitting on the couch. I couldn't stop thinking about when I first met Leslie. I remembered how many times, people told me that she had a problem, but I never listened to them.

*Flashback*

Leslie and I were walking along with two of her friends, Rick and Jenna. Jenna and Leslie took an advance on us, so Rick and I decided to talk a little.
"I can't believe you're going out with her." Rick suddenly exclaimed.
"What? She's nice. What's wrong with her?" I asked totally surprised that he would tell me that at that moment.
"This girl has a problem. I'm surprised that her parents didn't put her in a psychatric hospital already. She could get dangerous." He replied.
"Come on! You're lying. There's nothing wrong with her. Maybe you're just jealous that you can't have her." I shouted at him.
"Fine, do whatever you want, man. But, believe me, you'll regret it." Rick only added and left to go join the girls.

*End Of Flashback*

If I would have listened, none of this would be happening. It was partly my fault if Julie got kidnapped by Leslie.
"CHRIS!!!" I heard Jasmine scream. I got up from the couch and ran into the kitchen where everyone was staring at me. Jasmine ran into my arms and showed me the pin.

*Jasmine*

Chris came as I ran into his arms. He seemed so lost in his thoughts though and I was wondering what could be more important on his mind than to find my sister.
"Hey, it's Leslie's. I gave it to her." He sighed desperatly.
"Where could she have took her?" Mark asked really worried.
"Guys… I have something to tell you." Chris started, but I cut him.
"It's not the time, Chris. We have to find Julie." I shouted.
"Jas, Leslie is kinda sick. I've been told when we started to go out, but I never believed it. I wish I would or else, we wouldn't be in this situation." He told me anyways. We all looked at him. I couldn't believe that he hadn't told me earlier. We would have made everything to catch her.
"How could you keep us in the dark like that?" I yelled at him angrily.
"I didn't remember until tonight. Believe me, I would have told you if it would have come into my mind then, but it didn't." He replied.
"Now, my girlfriend is stuck with some sicko. I don't like this at all." Mark started to yell at his turn.
"PEOPLE!!!" Paul yelled."Fighting won't help Julie. We need to stick together and find places where Leslie could have take her." He then added.
"Paul's right." I only said. Chris held me tight and I didn't want to let him go. I wasn't ready to lose him, too.

*Julie*

I was getting so scared and no one could help me. I was trying to find a way to get out of there, but the rope was so thight around my wrists that they started to bleed a little and it was hurting like hell.
"How come they are so slow?" Leslie asked and I knew she wasn't expecting me to answer her, cuz she continued; "Maybe I should give them a call, so maybe, they could find you easier and I could eliminate you and your sister faster."
"Go to hell!" I only told her and looked away. I didn't want them to find me. I didn't want them to risk their lives for me. But, I knew that they would anyways and Leslie would get what she wants.
"Wanna talk to them? I'm sure they would like that." She asked me as she started to dial a number. I didn't reply and didn't look at her. I didn't want to show her the satisfaction that she was scaring me a lot.

*Mark*

We were still thinking of places where Julie could be, when Jasmine's mobile rang. She almost jumped on it to answer it. But she was just too nervous, so I took it.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hello! I Just wanted to tell you that if you don't find Julie faster than that, she'll die really soon." A femine voice said. I just knew it was Leslie's voice and I didn't like it at all. All I could hope was that she was going to let me talk to Julie, but it didn't happen.
"Where is she? Damn it!" I yelled at her.
"Ohhh… Calm down or I won't tell you. Go to Frontenac Park and after I'll tell you more, but be fast, Julie's life depends on it." And with that she hung up.
"What did she say?" Ben asked me.
"We have to go to Frontenac Park and from there, she'll lead us to Julie." I answered them.
"I don't like this. She has something in mind and I can tell that it's nothing good." Chris exclaimed.
"We all know it's not something good, but we have no choice." Jasmine said as we got out of the house and into my car.
