Kokiri Forest

Once the game begins, Saria will run up to you. Talk to her, then head towards the Deku Tree which is on the right. There Mido will stop you until you have equiped a Sword and Shield. The Deku Shield is sold at the Kokiri Forest shop for 40 rupees. The sword you will have to work for. Near the entrance to the forest, is a small hill that contains the home of the Know-it-all Brothers and a small fence maze. At the back of the maze there is a small hole in the wall that you can crawl though. Once there follow the rolling boulder (without getting hit) and you should find the Kokiri Sword. With both equiped, now head back to Mido. He will now let you through. Now head though by killing the Deku Baba on the way. Once at the tree, agree to help him and head inside the Great Deku Tree.
