Dodongo's Cavern

At the entrance, you will find a section of the wall that is all cracked. Use a bomb flower to blow it up. Jump onto the center platform and make your way to right. Blow up the entrance to the next area which contain Baby Dodongos. Use one of the statues to hold down the switch so that you can enter the next door.   From here on in, I recommend you use the Hylian Shield in this cavern. You will now enter a room with 2 Lizalfos. Once they are defeated, you will gain access to the next room that has a few Dodongos. Light the 3 torches in the room and continue. Hit the switch and make your way to the other side. Blast the center to get the Map, then make your way through the door. Blast the next door to gain entrance to the Compass. Now head back through the door and place a bomb flower between the two other flowers that have a large space between them. If you blow them up correctly, the stairs will lower to allow you access to the top floor. Enter the next door, hit the switch in the center of the next room, and make your way across the bridge to the other side. Make your way across the blade room to the next door. There will be a area on the same level as the door which contain a bomb flower. Blast through the door and hit the eye above the flames so that you can cross to the next room. Here you will meet another 2 Lizalfos. Once you get to the next room, shoot the first eye, jump onto the first platform, turn to your left and shoot the 2nd eye. In the next room you will find a chest which has a Bomb Bag. Hit the switch, then drop bombs into the eyes through the openings in the bridge. Enter the door in the mouth and you will be in a room that has a switch in the center that requires a block to hold it. Enter the right passage and climb up the second row where you will find a block further down the passage. Push the block over the switch to allow access to the boss room. Here you will find a dark patch on the ground. Blow it up and drop below to battle King Dodongo. When you exit the cavern, Darunia will give you Goron's Ruby. You should now go to the top of the mountian to see the Great Fairy.  To get up, you will have to blow up a few boulders near the flag, dodge falling lava balls and climb up a steep cliff. On top you will see the owl again. On the left of him there is a section in the wall that can be blown up. Enter it and play Zelda's Lullaby to meet the Great Fairy of Power. She will give you magic and the Spin Attack. Grab onto the owl's feet to get back to Kakariko Village. Now head over to Zora's River!
