The Water Temple

Once at Lake Hylia, you'll notice it is much shallower. Put on the Iron Boots and sink to the bottom. To enter the door to the temple, you'll have to hit the diamond switch on the top with the hookshot. You'll probably notice that it is the only weapon you can use under water. Inside the temple, many people get annoyed and give up. This is because you have to change your boots everytime you need to go down or up. You'll need to first sink to the bottom level, and enter the room with the two unlit torches guarding it. Here you'll meet Ruto. Follow her up to the top and enter the door. Get the map, then exit and play Zelda's Lullaby at the Triforce on the wall to change the water level to the bottom. Drop down and shoot arrows through the fire to light the two unlit torches to get key #1. On the opposite side of the main room, there is a block in the wall. Push it in until you get to a area you cannot cross. In order to cross, hit the switch and use the water spout to jump across. Soon you'll come to a big pool of water. Sink to the bottom, activate the switch in the mouth, and pull yourself to the other side where the bars were. Once on the other side, float to the top and obtian key #2. Now back in the main room, enter the center door. Make your way up to the triforce and play Zelda's Lullaby to move the water up to the second level. Now sink down to the bottom and enter the hole. Continue and you'll soon get key #3. Now float back up the the second level. Back in the main area, enter the area on the right side of the map. Here you'll find the compass. Now drop back down to the bottom level to the room where you found Ruto and surface again. Bomb the crack in the wall to get key #4.   Now return to the surface in the main area and go through the locked door. Make your way up and play Zelda's Lullaby at the triforce to return the water to it's original height. Enter the locked door and make your way up to the other side with the hookshot. In the next room you will have to hit the center switch everytime to get to another platform to continue. Soon you'll come to a strange room where you'll have to defeat a dark version of yourself. Good luck because it is difficult! Once defeated continue to get the Long Shot. Play the Song of Time behind the chest and drop through. Continue by dodging all the vortexes until you come to caged end. Hit the eye on the wall with an arrow and pull yourself to the chest which contains key #5. Make your way around and change the water level to the second floor again. Hit the eye and pull yourself through. Move the block around so you can reach key #6. Now go the bottom floor and pull yourself across the spikes and make your way through the room with the moving water. Bomb the walls near the water's surface on each side of the door you came through and push the block onto the switch in the water. Now use the water spouts to cross to the door, and sink down under the golden skulltula. You'll soon come to the boss key. Make your way to the top floor and pull yourself to the statue. Enter the boss door and battle Morpha! Ruto will now give you the Water Mediallion. Back at Lake Hylia, fire a arrow at the sun when it is first coming up infront of the stone to recieve the Fire Arrow. To continue, you'll now have to return to the Temple of Time, and go back 7 years in time!
