Reasons for leaving:

I had a goal in mind and a kind of a mission. To have fun, play some decent music with out bending to what everyone else wanted me to do, and keep it clean. We started out exactly the way I wanted to. Good, clean punk rock. We had a lot of fun, we did things our way, we pissed a lot of people off. Through the past few months the vision that I had for the band and the vision the rest of the band had shifted. I left because I had no reason to stay. Either compromise what I wanted to play, along with my beliefs in what music should be about or get out start my own band and do it all again. I chose the latter. I'll be around. I hope one day to restore the sticky goodness to all.

Pablo

Paul grew up like every normal boy should with his Intellevision II and then came his tri-cycle. Paul had to be pushed down the drive way by his mother to get the coordination so he could pedal right. He grew up in Lewisville, went to school in Lewisville but as he reached the age of puberty he disappeared for 4 years and no one was really sure where to until recently he submerged as a poser-punk pretty boy trying to play the guitar. Some say he went in to hiding to hide his grotesquely disfigured face as puberty took its toll. Others say he went to South America to a monastery to try and convince the lead singer of Op Ivy that his music would help more people than this life of solitude would. In any event Paul now tries to play the guitar with his other wanna be punk friends and they call themselves the stickies. He met Josh on the corner of Main and Old Orchard trying to run from the 7-11 clerk with a slurpee in each hand. Josh offered Paul a slurpee and they became quick friends. Turns out Josh tries to play the guitar as well and he liked Nirvana too. So they started a Nirvana cover band and that quickly fell apart. Sadly they went their separate ways. A year later on a bright sunny happy day, Paul caught wind that there was a talent show that night at a local church so he called Josh and asked if they could play an old song. At practice things went very different turns out they both played punk now and neither remembered any Nirvana tunes anymore. They quickly plotted to play an old school 3 chord punk songs made up some words and sang them at the show with a drummer and a bassist neither of them knew. After the show they thought 'this was pretty cool so lets start a band. We need a drummer so lets ask around.' They started spreading the word they needed a drummer. They received many responses but they sucked. Then came Luke, an odd fellow with a long neck who claimed he hated punk and he wanted to play progressive rock like the artist formerly known as Prince. Paul knew he could change Luke's mind so he agreed that there would be no punk at practice. Luke came and heard punk rock. Luke liked punk rock. Luke plays drums for the stickies and it seems as though they have a few ideas for a bassist but no one wants to play with them so they can't hold one down. The name has no meaning, no story it's something stupid Paul made up.
