Joshua Alan Hatfield, was a curious little boy. Born to George Alan Hatfield, a gringo/hippie father who didn't speak Spanish and worked as a taxi driver, and Maria Argentina Hatfield, a Guatemalan who moved here to work as a teacher but she couldn't speak English so it didn't work, in Houston, Texas, on December 26, 1981. Josh later moved to Westland, Michigan, which is a suburb just south of Detroit. Josh was always into music. it was just a question of which music was really him. First Josh listened to M.C. Hammer, Vanilla Ice, The New Kids on the Block, and some singing group from the Mickey Mouse Club. Just because all of the little girls that Josh had a crush on listened to them. Then Josh's mother thought that this music was wrong and Josh's father was slowly turned onto country music, but this didn't last for Josh soon moved and had no friends. The only way that he could make friends was to listen to rap music and pretend that he liked it, WHAT A LOSER!. Then Green Day came into his life, Josh taught himself how to play guitar and his life changed forever. He tried to form many bands but never succeeded to exceed school talent shows and birthday parties. Josh then moved to Texas where he again had no friends and turned to a life of crime. One day while at 7-11 Josh stole two slurpees and was chased by the store clerk when he .....ran into Paul who was on his way to 7-11 to get a slurpee, but Josh gave him one and they became friends right a way. First they played Nirvana cover songs but when they tried to play in front of people they said that they sucked and they did! Josh then played in and out of bands for about a year until one day Paul asked him to play in a talent show with him that day but they had no songs until Josh started playing a three chord pop progression and Paul sang some lyrics about a trip to Corpus Christi. Minivan was then born and so was The Stickies. Many more songs later, a whole two shows and Josh is the same person as he was when he was born only now he's fat and hairy. THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
