I:  Clode's Right Political Dictionary

“Immunity”    Immunity means an exemption given to some public office holders from prosecution for breaches of the law. (See also “Parliamentary Privilege”)

“In-Committee Meetings”   This is a part of a meeting which is strictly confidential. When a meeting moves “into committee”, the Secretary ceases recording discussions in the minutes. However the decision which results from the discussion can be minuted. By contrast, under the “Chatham House Rule”, a meeting can agree to keep the decisions and discussions of a particular meeting secret, but ideas raised in discussion can be subsequently shared elsewhere - provided that the source of those ideas is not revealed. (See “Chatham House Rule”)

“Independent”     This word refers to an election candidate or member of parliament who does not belong to a political party.
