  1. face the music     面對音樂

    2. 一說此語來自軍中，士兵常常擔心是否能順利通過上級視察，但無論如何，他們都必須陣容整齊，列對出去面對軍樂及上級的視察。又說，如果士兵犯錯被逐出軍隊，於離開時，軍隊不奏樂，改以擊鼓代之，而這位士兵也只有在這鼓聲中離去。喻指：接受處罰；毅然面對困難局面；甘受責言。
