  1. dance to another tune      隨另一支曲調跳舞

    【例句】：

    Jack refused to hand in his report but punishment made him dance to another tune.

    3. 喻指：比賽中出人意料之外的獲勝者。

    【例句】：

    6. 這是指絕交信，主要用在女子給男子的絕交信。

    7. 喻指：做不名譽的事；有損人格。

    【例句】：

    10. 喻指：限制；不讓自己做某事；拒絕超過一步。

    【例句】：

    I encourage students to express their won opinions, but I draw the line at being rude.

    我鼓勵學生提出自己的意見，但我定下規定，不得無禮。
  10. drive sb  to the wall      把某人趕到牆角

喻指：將某人逼到絕境；使某人走投無路。

【例句】：

There was no way out but to agree. We were driven to the wall.

除了同意之外，沒有其他辦法可行。我們被逼得走投無路。
