Fri 1 - Baking Indian bread and pies. Went up to Uncle Dan [Tillotson]'s at 7 o'clock to visit with Mrs. Wilmot and Libbie. Olin went over home a few minutes.
Sat 2 - Making crackers, moping and cleaning. Ab [Abigail Heacock] is better. [Her father] James has gone to the Lodge. I am so lonely tonight.
Sun 3 - Done up the work in the morning. Then went up to Uncle Dan [Tillotson]'s. Dressed for church. Rained so we could not go. Dry, Tim and Chub went down to Mrs. Carol's to watch.
Mon 4 - Done out a large wash. Lib has got back from Mr. Wait's to come in to see me a few minutes. 8 o'clock. Good night.
Tues 5 - Ironing in the forenoon, sewing in the afternoon. Tim and Lib have been down to Mr. Wilmots. Lib is here tonight.
Wed 6 - Baking bread and sewing. Lewis was here to supper. Amelia [Heacock] came just at night.
Thurs 7 - Baked 2 pies and a loaf of cake. Nett was here a little while. Went down to the sing. Had a very good one.
Fri 8 - Baked bread, moped and cleaned. Amelia [Heacock] came up and spent the afternoon. [Her daughter] Ab[igail] is not as well. Went t up to Nett's just at night.
Sat 9 - Done up the work then went to making Ab [Abigail Heacock] a .... skirt. [Her father] Jim did not go to the Lodge.
Sun 10 - Snowed so like fun I could not go to church. Staid to Jim [Heacock]'s till just at night. Went up to Nett's. Put was there.
Mon 11 - Washing. James [Heacock] has gone after the Doctor. [His daughter] Abigail is no better. Wonder where Lib is. Have not seen her since Thursday.
Tues 12 - Ironing and baking pies. Amelia [Heacock] come up a little while. Feel rather lonely tonight.
Wed 13 - Commenced James [Heacock] a pair of pants. Oh dear how I hate to make them.
Thurs 14 - Baking bread and sewing. Dry came down at 4 o'clock to go up there and eat warm sugar. Went over to Alf's exhibition. Gil was to Dry's.
Fri 15 - Staid with Lib all night. Got down to Jim [Heacock]'s as they were eating breakfast. In the eve went down to Mr. Parson's exhibition. Eth brought me home.
Sat 16 - Doing housework and sewing on them pants. They are done and I am so glad. Looked for Lib but she did not come.
Sun 17 - Called on Eliza Peck. She is very sick. Went up to Nett's to eat warm sugar. Gil and Lib come down. Went down to the foot of the hill with them. Saw Alfred.
Mon 18 - Washing. Took a very hard cold. Went to bed at 8 o'clock. Down sick.
Tues 19 - Baked bread and done what work must be done. Went to bed at dark. Oh, what a cold I have got. James [Heacock] has gone to Cleveland.
Wed 20 - Ironed. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins stopped here to take the stage. It is fun to hear Rachel talk. James [Heacock] got home at 1 o'clock. Feel some better.
Thurs 21 - Making a pair of pants for Mr. Stow. Went down to the sing. Had a very good one. What a pleasant evening. (good pencil this)
Fri 22 - Sewing, baking pies. Two men here a chopping. Did not have supper until 8 o'clock. I am so tired.
Sat 23 - Baked bread and finished them pants. James [Heacock] has gone to the Lodge and I have got the toothache.
Sun 24 - Dry came down to have Lib and I go to church but we were not ready. Went down to Put's sugar bush. Alf came up. Had a serious time.
Mon 25 - Did not wash. Went up to Nett's in the morning. In the afternoon went down to the Center. Got me some shoes.
Tues 26 - Done up the work in the morning. Then Lib and I went up to Uncle Leonard's. Staid all night. Harry Lewis and wife come up there.
Wed 27 - Tim and I have been down to Aunt Fanny [Peck]'s washing. Snowed like fun. Lib is staying with me tonight.
Thurs 28 - Baking pies, moping and cleaning. Went down to the sing with Dry and walked back with Put. Rather weary.
Fri 29 - Have been up to Uncle Leonard's to visit with the Wilmot girls. Had some warm sugar. Staying with Lib.
Sat 30 - Come down from Nett's in the morning. Baked bread and cleaned. Snowed like fun. James [Heacock] has gone to the Lodge.
Sun 31 - The rest have gone to church but I was not ready so I had to stay at home. Went up to Nett's just at night.
