Thur 1 - Come down to Nett's to help her sew. Tim and I went down to Mrs. Wilmot's to a quilting. 13 there. Met [brother] Will on my way home. Went out a riding.
Fri 2 - Making a lounge cover. It is so warm I can't do much. Put has been here to work. I am down sick tonight.
Sat 3 - Made a sheet for Nett in the forenoon. In the afternoon Nett and I made a visit to Mr. Colyer's. Came back to Tim's.
Sun 4 - Did not go to church it was so warm. Went down to the sing. Had a very good one. John Barker/Parker came up just at night. Commenced a letter to Lib.
Mon 5 - Washed the white clothes and put them in the rinse water. In the afternoon Dry, Tim and Chub went down to Zed [Zadok Tillotson jr]'s. Had a good visit.
Tues 6 - Put out the white clothes and washed the colored ones. Washed my lawn dress. Tryphenia [Freese] and the two youngest children spent the day here.
Wed 7 - Sewed all but my dress. Nett come up in the afternoon and Nellie Castle. Bill [Freese] is here to work today. Tim is 27 years old. Georgie Stow [Georgiana Root, wife of J.D. Stow] has got a daughter born today.
Thurs 8 - Ironed my dress in the morning. Then come down to Nett's. Went with her and William down to Mr. Wait's. Bill [Freese] come up after I had gone to bed.
Fri 9 - Been sewing for Nett making some clothes for Jimmy [her son?]. Am down sick tonight with the headache. Wish I could hear from Lib.
Sat 10 - Sewing all day making pants for Jimmy. {Brother] William has been to Liverpool. Did not see Gil, he had gone to Columbia.
Sun 11 - Went to Beebetown to church. Heard Mr. Wilder. Went to Mr. Barber's and staid to the sing. Wren was there with Louisa Bryan.
Mon 12 - Helped Nett wash and bake. It rains like fun. Feel rather down hearted tonight.
Tues 13 - Sewing for Nett and waiting on company. Mrs. Coral [Correll] Deming, Mrs. Daniel Milo, Mrs. Jacob Ward. Tim called just at night -- 10 o'clock.
Wed 14 - Spent the day alone. William and Nett went to Berea. Went up to Uncle Dan [Tillotson]'s a little while with Hattie. Today is my birthday -- 27 years old.
Thur 15 - Ironing and helping Nett take care of Baby. Called on Georgie Stow. Looked for Will but he is not going to come. 9 o'clock.
Fri 16 - Come up home in the morning to see Grandma. She is failing. Went with Put down to Cornelius Lines to a sing. Will come up but I was gone.
Sat 17 - Helping Ma and taking care of Grandma. Went over to see Sarah Bryan. She is not as well. Jane and Maggie called.
Sun 18 - Staid with Grandma. Pa and Ma went down to Mr. Wilmot's. He is better. Went down to the sing. The Center folks was there.
Mon 19 - Done a large wash for Nett. Jimmy is sick. I am tired to death tonight.
Tues 20 - Done the ironing. John [Wait] was here to dinner and Mrs. Goodrich to tea. Feel rather down hearted tonight.
Wed 21 - Sick all day with the Neuralgia in my face. Went home with Put just at night. Rec a letter from Lott.
Thur 22 - Sick all the forenoon. Did not get up until noon. Come up to Tim's and took tea, then come back to Nett's. Lewis has enlisted.
Fri 23 - Feel some better today. Have been helping Nett get ready for camp meeting. Nett has been to the Center.
Sat 24 - William and Nett started for camp meeting at 9 o'clock. Mrs. Goodrich spent the day with me. John [Wait] come up a little while.
Sun 25 - Everybody has gone to camp meeting but me. I am not able to go. Staid to Nett's until 1 o'clock then William, Nett and I went down to Mr. Wait's.
Mon 26 - Helped Nett wash in the afternoon. Come up home to visit with Aunt Almira [Tillotson]. Am not able to go back. Wish I was dead.
Tues 27 - Helped Put clean up wheat. In the morning come up at 10 o'clock. Tired out. Went to bed and laid till dinner. Put and I went down to call on Martha.
Wed 28 - Have been sewing for myself. Come back to Nett's just at night. Wish I could get a letter from Will.
Thur 29 - Ironing and washing colored clothes. John [Wait] come up on the stage. Is going to stay all night.
Fri 30 - Nett made a cheese and I took care of baby. Nett, Maria Peck and Chub went down to Mrs. Castle for a visit. Maria is staying with me.
Sat 31 - Helped Nett do up the work then come up to Tim's. Had a house full of company. Tim and I are watching with Sarah [Bryan]. She is failing very fast. What a long night.
