This dictionary has been compiled from dream discussions and interpretations on the Dreaming World mailing list. TOILET - Constitutes a need for eliminations. This means any type of negative element present in one's life.
TORNADO - Can stand for "powerful" emotions that they are not necessarily negative. It is literally an emotion powerful enough to turn inward an create a self perpetuating cycle, which can actually relate to an ambition or a fundamental emotion. In excess it can become obsessive.....but it could also be regarded as a positive motivating force. Tornadoes/Twisters/hurricanes are symbolic of inner turmoil.
TRAIN: Warns against following closely behind another who is following a tried-and-true course.
TRAIN STATION: Suggests a new direction or course change. SEE ALSO: Railway Station
TREES: Symbolic of the basic structure of our inner lives. Trees symbolise life force; living gifts; the increment of same. Spiritually, the tree symbolises the Tree of Life & represents the union of heaven, earth and water. And as for the tree, trees are strong and protective...a symbol of strength & foundation & inner strength.. A tree exists above & below the earth so in that sense a tree transcends the sky above & the earth below & stands for the realms of nature & the spirit.., That you're hiding in the tree could mean that you are afraid to move into new areas of learning, particularly if it's related to the darkside, because no one really wants to deal with that and would rather tuck it away in the little room far far out the back there.
TUNNELS: Represent the need to explore things that are unconscious and the things that have been left untouched. It can also represent birth...passing through the birth canal.. light at the end represents the final stages and if it is blocked then a past fear could be stopping the dreamer.
