DREAMING WORLD'S SYMBOLISM DICTIONARY


This dictionary has been compiled from dream discussions and interpretations on the Dreaming World mailing list. Please be aware that some dreams will have considerable different meaning to different dreamers, the first place you should start looking when you want to analyse a dream is within YOU. FAMILY: Connotes close associations that are supposed to be unified.

FANGS: Vicious cutting speech

FEMALES: This aspect is dominated by the dreamer’s mother, emotions and the inner world. It includes caring, nurturing, loving, intuition, etc.. Problems with this aspect are shown as females ill, injured, disabled, drunk, etc.. Female characters may indicate your reaction to; *women in general *that particular woman *the female aspect of yourself *your mother *emotions *healing agent, guide or entity *a former life.

FIANCE: Characterises one with whom the dreamer closely associates.

FIELD: SEE Plains

FLOOR: Can also relate to being "low" as in basement. Which means "sub-conscious".

FLOWERS: Pertains to one's natural and inherent talents that should beautifully blossom as they are utilised.

FLYING: Astral activities or rising (mentally) above a problem.

FLYING DOWN AND LANDING: Rebirthing

FOOD: Always connotes some kind of nourishment.

FORMS: Signifies a group of people or a situation of considerable size; a situation common to many.

FORT: Symbolises one's personal quality and strength of defense. A need for self-protective measures.
