This dictionary has been compiled from dream discussions and interpretations on the Dreaming World mailing list. Please be aware that some dreams will have considerable different meaning to different dreamers, the first place you should start looking when you want to analyse a dream is within YOU. But if you're stuck, this just might help you out or give you a starting point :-) This list will be updated as more discussions come about.

PEOPLE: Can often mirror something we're seeing in ourselves, this is true also in the waking world. If the person is someone we don't like, it's more than likely they are displaying a personality trait within us that we don't want to recognise as our own, because that would mean we wouldn't like ourselves. The dreamer should make use of what is available to him on a practical level to further himself spiritually POLICE: Either a sign of guilt or for security. Depending on situation. Could also be feelings of shame. Can mean A LOT of things. You need to look at what you see the police as. Helpful? Corrupt? Authoritave? Lacking authority? Sometimes they come as an advisement to analyse one's actions or plans; representing a need for introspection.
