>>Early this morning President Mobarak and Prime Minister Atef Ebeed , gave orders for the troops surrounding St. Anthony Monastery
to retreat and stop the attack and threat against the Monastery,
and they stated that reactions and decisions will be taken concerning
the current Governor of the Red Sea , and he might be removed. And
important and final decisions will be taken in the Monastery issue.......
and accordingly gratitude messages have been sent from the monastery
to President Moubarak for his kind cooperation.
But
still the Threat is not Over........ no actual reactions are taken
yet!!!

Information came to us from the monastery now that the monastery
has been trying 10 days ago to negotiate with the government concerning
the Monastery issue.
Bishop
Yostos , head of the Monastery, sent a messenger on behalf of the
monastery to talk with the Governor of the Red Sea and sent him
Father's Youstos's message that the monastery is seeking peace with
the government and they don't want any troubles. But the reply from
the Governor of the Red Sea was : "My report is already very
bad , and I will be removed any way, but before I leave I will nock
down this monastery!"
