Theories

This page is theories on Dragons I have collected from people I know. If you want your theory on here (yes, I'll let you) then send it to me, and I'll probably post it. I have a summarized (kinda) version of some scientist's theories about the origin of the dragon myths here.

"They don't exist! How many times do I have to tell you!"
-Tahlia

"They might exist and people are covering them up, or they went extinct"
-Meghan

"They do exist. You know, like people in Africa, they might not know kangaroos exist, even though they've read about them in books or seen pictures, but they exist. See, the world is a really big place, just last year they found that fish that they thought was extinct. Just because they haven't seen them, because everything's living and growing and moving."
-Laurel

"Well, scientifically, they're scientifically unsound. We won't really know if they're real unless we see one."
-Patrick

"I think they're a bastardized account of Dinosaurs by the people who were alive when there were Dinosaurs."
-Veronica

"I think that the whole fire breathing dragon thing was an explanation for lightning strikes. Could be large birds, pterodactyls left over from prehistory living on mountain tops, could be mass hysteria."
-Jerome

"Big green slimy things."
-Hannah

"Everyone knows what a dragon looks like. It looks like a short, fat, bald old man."
-Tom (I can't believe I asked him how to spell his name...)

"They're big, huge, green, and they have scary eyes, and sharp teeth, and they're fire's really, really, really hot, and they don't swim, and they have wings, and everyone's afraid of them."
-Rachel

"A mythical beast in ancient cultures and religions used to signify a great evil and/or a great power-a force of nature not easily understood."
-Eric

"Drag*on n : a fabulous animal usu. represented as a huge winged scaly serpent with a crested head and large claws."
-ZolaOnAOL
