VIC'S ROOFSPACE.

As for the roofspace this is a room I've filched from the roof area of our home, putting in walls ceiling, floor and window . Here's where I waste my time with my computers, hide my model boats and surround myself with the valueless odds and sods accumulated over time.

WHO IS THIS BLOKE CALLED VIC

WHAT'S WITH DANNY BOY

Who's Vic when he's at home? Vic was born on 29 Feb. 1932, I'm Vic of course and try to claim that I was underprivileged from the day I was born, and here's the rub, had only 17 birthdays and look everyday (and some) of 70 years of age. I was born in Glenfield, Leicestershire, England and lived in the neighbouring village of Ratby until the death of my father in Dec. 1935 after a road accident. My father's name was Harold, he was an extrovert and played the piano by ear ( his hands weren't tied behind his back though), he loved to sing and in fact was so addicted to singing Danny Boy that he was known in Ratby as Danny, so Danny Boy it is for my music.

Inside the roofspace
Here we are inside the chaotic roofspace, our eldest grandchildren Jack on the left, then aged nine and his elder brother Sam then aged twelve on the right.

 Max and Sophie
Here's a snap of our youngest grandchildren, Max then aged four and his sister Sophie then aged ten weeks.
