Mods

Well, since I crashed my bike when it only had 3.000 miles, I didn't have much time (or opportunity...) to customize it. First mod I've done was installing a M Toby Steering Damper.

M Toby Steering Damper

The M Toby Steering Damper is great ! Way cheaper than the Ohlins, it's fully adjustable, very light and it doesn't interfere with the steering movement.

I think it also looks great ! Price in Portugal is approximately 260 Euros.

Stainless Steel Brake Lines

I have replaced the stock brake lines (front & rear) with braided stainless steel lines with Ergal terminals. It improved the already fantastic braking power of the R1. Price was 150 Euros.

I also got rid of the ugly stock plate hanger and blinkers and replaced them with a spectacular JMV Concept (Eurobikes in the USA) Tail. It was a pain to install (had to cut the stock black plastic...) and it also reduces the available storage space under the pillion seat. Price was aprox. 175 Euros.

As you can see, I removed the mirrors and the blinkers. I know it's illegal but it looks great...

Scratched pegs...

Well, some people say it's impossible... but I managed to scratch the pegs of my R1.

Speed Freaks'99 Blue scheme VS '98 Red scheme

Above (left), the "Speed Freaks" sticker, earned at a Track Day. Blue scheme VS Red scheme - The blue is definitely prettier but since I wrecked my blue R1, I think the next will be the '99 Red/Black & White scheme...
