Here are the "core beliefs" of Clan Sharks as formulated by ^^Gr8_White^^. They are the principals on which the Clan was founded and on which every Elder agrees.

1. Although we are a Descent II clan and we strive to be the best pilots we can be, fun, sportsmanship, and respect are much more important than skill level. This is a game... and while we may compete and always strive to be better players, we are a clan of FUN, first and foremost.
2. There will be no harassment or intimidation of any players (not just Clan members).
3. The more people in our Clan, the merrier.
4. NO CHEATERS! If you want to cheat, everyone in the game must agree.
5. This clan is a clan for its members, not just for the leaders. The leaders must strive to institute policies which ensure fairness to all of its members, not just to the leaders. This is not to say that if Clan members want to change the fundamental concepts of our Clan this should be allowed. This would be ludicrous. It is important, however, that the leaders listen to members' ideas and thoughts and to act on them to take the Clan in the direction they (as well as the leaders) want to go.
6. This is a Descent II clan... a team. In order for someone to remain a part of the Clan, they must contribute. Of course, if someone cannot make it to Kali for some reason, they will not be permanently removed from our ranks; however, they may be be temporarily removed.
   • In order to retain voting privileges, one MUST fly/interact with the other clan members on a regular basis.
   • Failure to fly with the clan with no explanation will result in demotion.
