What is S.W.E.N.G (Scotland) for?

S.W.E.N.G. (Scotland) – the South West Emergency Nurses Group – is a group of nurses involved in the delivery of emergency care, in the South West region of Scotland.

It is the main aim of the group to share knowledge and practices with other staff members of emergency units.

Another aim of the group is to examine and develop different aspects of the care of emergency patients examining – in particular – best practices with other nurses throughout the region, through study days and workshops during the year.

It is the intention of the group to form links with other groups, in order to expand on the current knowledge available to nurses in the emergency departments and to provide access for other nurses in this speciality to this information.
