The biggest way you can support SaveSWC, and by extension the show Strangers With Candy, is by doing all you can to partake in the efforts detailed in this web site. If you do nothing more than continue to send letters and e-mails and make phone calls as often as you can—not just once but repeatedly until we have gotten a response—you will have demonstrated strong support. For those of you who are able and/or interested in helping out monetarily, I certainly could use that type of support as well. While I am pleased I am able to have this site hosted for free on geocities, I ultimately would like to move it so it can be hosted on its own at its own domain. I already have secured the domain name www.saveswc.com. I have been searching for the best deal in web hosting, and so far the best deal I have unearthed is $300/year. If anyone has a connection with a web hosting provider, please let me know. Otherwise, I will continue to search myself. I would be extremely grateful to accept donations to help cover this cost if I can't find a better deal. The money would not go toward anything more than getting the site hosted, and I would not need anything over the $300. It would be great if I could find 20 people who would each be willing to donate $15 each (well, actually just 19 people after subtracting my share). In return, you would be recognized in the site, have a say in any "editorial decisions" that may arise, be able to determine content and even have your own personal page on saveswc.com if you wish. And if this site ever were to make money (something I am not predicting, but you never know whether someone might approach us about advertising), I would refund your donation to you and dole out anything extra.
