The Village June 1st 2004 (an aerial view).

A close-up of The Village.
This is about a week or two before the village
was totally demolished. The greenhouse, towers,
and some of the smaller buildings have already 
been knocked down.

A farm road cleared for dolly shots through the trees.
(And maybe some "Ivy in the woods" shots?)

It looks like the aerial camera caught the crew cleaning
up after the May 2004 reshoot (where they shot the "Ivy
returns to the Sick Cabin" scene that was tacked on to 
the end of the film.

One nasty day in April, Pennsbury Township had a "Visit The Village" fundraiser tour. All of the buildings were open. Each one had a member of the production crew inside to answer questions. In the middle of the tour one of the local land owners drove in on a 4-in-hand carriage with Sigourney Weaver on board. She jumped off and walked into the large "meeting hall" to sign autographs.
