Have you ever wondered how you can add macrons '-' above the letters that you want to, in any application that you want to. Well with this program you can. All you need to do is follow the simple instructions in the readme file and in no time you can put macrons anywhere you want. for example 'Mäori, körero, tïpani, Ätaahua..etc..

You can do it in word, email, notepad any program you like. Previously if you wanted to do that kind of thing you had to buy a program called 'kete', but now you can use this one and its free. more info

 

Okay now you have your macron puter onner but you need the fonts that support maori macrons. If you don't have the fonts that support macrons all you will get are two ugly dots above the letter like 'ä' and thats not mäori. So you need these fonts that i have collected that come with the '-' instead of the two dots. Download here:

 

 

This is the Reed Maori to English and English to Mäori dictionary. I found it at the library so i am putting it here, its free. You can even add your own words, proverbs, anything you like. It's an excellent program. Read the readme.txt
