John Wafforn was christened on 1 December 1649 in Brington, the sixth known child born to John and Margret Wafforn. His siblings were John, Josiah, William, Francis and John. As can be seen, John's parents had tried on at least two prior occasions to have a John reach adulthood!
On 26 May 1677 John married Damaris Wills in Harlestone. They went on to have at least seven children, as listed above. The locations of these christenings suggest the couple lived in Budbrooke in 1678 but by 1682 had moved to nearby Cold Higham. At least one of their children didn't survive to adulthood as Mary Wafforn died on 28 September 1683, only nine months after she was christened.
John died on 27 November 1722 in Welton. He would have been approximately seventy-three years old.
